Great under kitchen sink bin for general wasteMerciaThis bin is a perfect fit for under the kitchen sink. The bin has a rim to help keep the bin liner in place, this work very well. The lid is a great addition as it keeps the smells contained and it is nice a tidy.5
Excellent designTaniaBought to fit under a shelf in our pantry, as it's shorter than many bins. The carry handle and double lids work well. I like the extra piece to hold a liner in place, but haven't found a liner that's a great size to fit, and like to reuse/recycle, so have a recycled bag just held in half of the bin. Both lids are still useful. We DIYed a wheeled base to have it on so we can slide it under the shelf and out of the way. It seems easy to clean and solidly put together. Not sure how long the hinged lid will last.5

Lid Handle Design FlawMaxThe lid handle is carved into the lid, making it awkward to open and close. Since only a finger fits, you can’t follow the natural angle of movement without touching the dirty inner part of the lid. The handle should be designed outward, allowing for a better grip, pinch, or lift. This is especially critical in a kitchen, where the lid often rests on the floor or inside a drawer—opening it should be effortless and intuitive, even without looking.
The larger bin handle locks into a single position (front). If moved to the back, it obstructs the lid from opening fully. Not intuitive.
I liked the bag rim, but my partner threw it away because she found it annoying.2
