Would not recommendBrookeThe scales turn off in the middle of weighing things.
Not good AndreaIt broke pretty fast, giving me the UNST error, also the the on/off button located in the middle of the scale was not a good idea, it turns on and off randomly.
Turns on randomlyJosephI’ve exchanged this scale twice because it keeps turning on randomly, it wastes batteries but the second one I exchanged was the same, it’s not the best if you want to keep changing the batteries all the time

Great scales but turn off too quicklyLisaScales work well until you want to weigh a second ingredient into the same bowl. It will turn off too quickly before adding or as you start pouring the second ingredient into the bowl and then you have no idea how much you have added. Twenty seconds isn't long enough before they turn off.
Turns off constantly and then when not being used, turns back on again.....HazelScales were purchased to replace an older Salter set. They constantly switch off whilst being used, and don't easily switch back on again, they are extremely frustrating to use. We have checked battery placement, and changed batteries over to check if that fixed issue, but nothing has changed.
Turns off too quicklyAlexAfter using this in real-world cooking, baking and coffee-making for a week, I found this scale to be unusable because the display turns off after 20 seconds and the touch controls to turn it back on are also terrible. I will be returning this. Waste of money, do not buy.

Turns off too quicklyCharlotteReally hard to use to weigh multiple ingredients into the same bowl. It will turn off after a couple of seconds so I have to lift the bowl up to get to the on button and wait for it to get back to the right weight. Has also stopped registering light ingredients e.g 1 tbs of chia seeds registers as 0g…. I’ll be looking for an alternative.
Better options out thereThomazBatteries come loose constantly, regularly fails to register small grams when adding things like honey or sauce to food. Looks good aesthetically but that’s about all it does well. Go for something else

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
