The door can be hung with the opening to the right or the left.

FORSAND door is as pleasing to the eye as to the touch since it has a structured foil finish which gives both a wooden look and feel.

FORSAND door finishes match perfectly with PAX frames.

The doors look great open or closed since they have the same finish on both sides.

This classic, wood-effect expression is available in three models: FORSAND hinged door, HASVIK sliding door and MEHAMN sliding door with panels.

Super functionalMarkI purchase three doors, two were great, one unfortunately was bowed and wouldn't sit flat against the cupboard. We took it back and asked for a replacement. I'm not sure what the policy is but the Ikea member gave us a refund and told us to go and purchase a new one. Which I was happy to do only the refund was a dollar or so less than the purchase cost of the new one? Anyways, all doors now sit flat against wardrobe and I am super happy with the look, cost and functionality of the wardrobe. Only time will tell how it stands up to the kids. ;)4

For smaller and larger budgets alike, I found the Forsand was a minimalist option given that I wasn't looking for a wow factor.

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
