Not very warmDarrenI purchased this duvet because it’s labeled as “Very Warm,” but unfortunately, it is not as described. Even on cooler nights, it doesn’t provide the warmth I expected. Very disappointed, as I was looking for a truly warm duvet and this product didn’t meet that need. In terms of warmth and comfort, I don’t find it satisfactory. I hope IKEA can improve the accuracy of their warmth ratings.2

The only downside is it is quite heavy and has a tendency to bunch in the quilt cover but is easily fixed with a quick shake out. Wouldn’t recommend for hot sleepers but for cold frogs like me you’ll love it!5

warm enough but bad smellDongrongMy opinion is that it is enough to survive the winter in Sydney since it is warm. It is not necessary to buy other things to stay warm. The material is dry and not heavy. The only downside is that it smells strongly. After drying it for a day, I slept with it all night. The smell forced me to wake up early the next morning, and my throat was a little sore. I am very sensitive to smells. Its smell makes me feel uncomfortable. I plan to leave it there and continue to air it out for a few days. I hope the smell will subside. For those who are not sensitive to smell, I recommend buying it because it is indeed warm. But for those who are sensitive to smell, you should think carefully before making a decision.3
