Each post includes two fittings which enable interiors to be mounted also on the extendable part, allowing you to utilise the entire ceiling height.

Different ceiling materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the ceilings in your home, sold separately.

Two persons are needed for the assembly of this furniture.

Elvarli: never do the ceiling model solo.JuliaElvarli is a beautiful idea, and a stunning result when executed well, however, let my review be a warning. Mine tried to kill me. Don't try this alone. It's heavy, cumbersome, and one false step will leave you injured. I am a very independent older single woman, and I have a great deal of experience putting ikea beauties together. This is the first one in over 40 years of solo builds, that I actually gave up. I had to. I was concussed, had torn my shoulder joint capsule, and it had demoralised me to the point of tears. I know there will be those who are able to do this one alone: trust me, they are magic, and have the power of levitation and teleportation, and are possibly not to be trusted (looking at you Valdemort!). I ended up returning it and using the ladder style Elvarli. Almost as stunning, not so lethal. 😉 👍🏻 3
