Seat is not flatChrisThe stool is easy to assemble but we did need power tools to tighten. It was a bit disappointing to see the top has a reasonable indent along the sitting edge. I wanted as a studio stool for drawing and it was nice to have the height adjustment. It feels sturdy but I will put some protection on the leg ends to save my vinyl flooring.

Not a good stool, but....JohnAs a stool, this is pretty average. Max weight is a low 100kg, the seat isn't very comfortable and the paint looks like it will probably chip quite easily if knocked about. BUT they make great stylish speaker stands for a fraction of the price of purpose built stands. Height adjustable, ability to swivel - perfect! Just don't sit on them :)
