Besta is a good range,ReginaBesta is a good range, however the back panels and drawer insides on side board and tv cabinet showed discolouring/mould a week after purchase. I managed to clean it off with gumption and letting the panels dry completely in sunshine. It looks like the raw materials used were never treated properly. Any other suggestions how to avoid further issues?5
Great Item at a Great PriceMikeWe were looking for a big buffet for our living area and just couldn't find anything suitable at a price we could afford. We then remembered that you can make your own at Ikea and with the help of a staff member created the "Great Wall" of buffets which can be seen from the moon. It has 10 seperate cabinets which swallows up a lot of books, records and board games and with some glass doors for the middle cabinets we have a nice drinks cabinet (wine on the bottom and spirits on the top). All done it was $1400 which was fantastic when you consider the size of the item which is over 3 metres wide. Very easy to collect, convey home and put together and a lot cheaper than getting someone in to make a similar piece. We are now hooked on "design your own" and working on our next set of cabinets for around the TV.5

Only frustration is the adjusting of the hinges (one door is slightly lower than the other and no matter what adjustment I make I can’t seem to align them). Can only see this close up though. Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
