It’s smart to store things high up ‒ but sometimes it’s difficult to reach them. This step stool makes it easier to reach things highest up in cabinets ‒ and it's also nice to look at.

Handy Lightweight StepsJohnPurchased one of these years ago and decided on another one for outside. Great as steps and as a stool if you run out of chairs. Easy Assembly5
Not stable and wood is stainedSofieI’ve bought this stool multiple times for 10 years. The quality has gone downhill. I got another today and when I opened the box, the wood is stained yellow in random patches. When I assembled it, it doesn’t stand flat, one leg is shorter than the other.1
Poorly marked bracesKatherineSince the horizontal braces are identical, it is so easy to mix up the bottom ones with the hole in it and the one without. The manual does NOT emphasise this enough with the usual callout balloon with zoomed-in image. You can still fully assemble it, but this leaves the bottom step unsecured and flapping vertically. I am unhappy with it.1
Good qualityChristinaThis stool is very sturdy. It was a little tricky for me to put together but I eventually succeeded... I am currently using it in my bathroom to hold towels and other things. Will eventually be used as a plant stand. Very happy with my purchase.5
Convenient And AffordableMeganI needed something for my work place so I could reach in high cupboard spaces and manage displays. This is just perfect. Very affordable, looks nice, just the right height. It’s also good that it doubles as a seat. Very pleased with the purchase.5

Material

What is solid wood?

Solid wood is one of our favourite materials and is part of our Scandinavian heritage. It is also a timeless material with many uses. Regardless of the wood species, it is durable, beautiful and renewable. We strive to use this raw material as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste – and we also invest in facilities and logistics so that we can increase the use of recycled wood.
