Compact but practicalErwinI bought this to have extra drawers in my walk-in. It is compact but the drawers are deep enough for a single layer of clothing. You can fit in so much. The unit is sturdy and drawers run smoothly. Highly recommended item!

I've had many ikea products before like Kallax, Billy Bookcase, Micke Draws and Kullen.
All fantastic quality and finish.
These alex draws are woeful in comparison and for $199!!!
Id expect this quality for under $100.
The draws do not line up correctly becuase of the factory fitted rails.
The rails themselves are stiff and do not slide nicely
The draws are flimsy and use plastic fastners instead of screws to hold them together - henc the films construction.
The floor of the draws is very very thin and will not support much weight at all before it bends and things in the draws fall out the back of the draw or the entire draw floor falls out

Good drawers except for one flaw.JodieThe Back of the drawers are lower than the front and items continuously fall down the back and you can't close them properly. If the sides and back matched the front it would solve the problem.
