A mattress protector between your sheet and mattress protects from stains and dirt and prolongs the life of your mattress.

You experience a comfortable and dry sleep since both the fabric and filling contain lyocell fibres which absorb moisture.

An elastic strap in each corner keeps your mattress protector in place.

Disappointed Over TimeAnonymous reviewerI bought this mattress protector a while ago, and at first, it seemed fine. However, over time the back fabric started to deteriorate badly. Eventually, it came off almost completely. I kept finding little polypropylene squares stuck to the mattress and inside the washing machine. It didn’t hold up well with regular use and washing. Disappointing quality from IKEA on this one.1

Pretty Good UnderblankAndrewworks well, adds a little extra comfort and a little cooler feel when first hopping into bed. Don't normally buy ones with just elastic straps, but fits well and easy to put on.4
GoodRaymondIt was a little tricky to put on to a thicker mattress as the straps kept coming up but otherwise good. Not to loud and stays in place4

Best mattress protectors out thereKatherineLove these mattress protectors - have 2 now for my boys rooms. My mum also has them and won't buy any others. They stay in place, don't move around on the bed. The elasticated end seem to work much better than the sheet style protectors. Just wish they made them in more sizes like king single.5
Seems okMalcolmToo early to comment on durability4

Single bed and mattressJennifferI have to admit I'm almost 50 and never went to Ikea. Great place, living room and kitchen set-ups is very well displayed. Never realised Ikea is that big. The only thing i were disappointed in was, when we got home we only received the frame of the single bed. The lady at the bed display area didn't tell us that we have to purchase the inner base ( under the mattress) aswell. We have to drive all the way back to spend another $40. Many others with won't mind spending that extra.4

Material

What is lyocell?

Lyocell is a strong and silky-smooth fibre made of cellulose from wood pulp. The soft lyocell fibre is good at absorbing moisture while feeling cool against the skin. That’s why we like to use it for bed linens and as a filling in pillows and duvets to give you a good night's sleep. And just as with any other wood raw material, we strive to use it as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste.
