Almaden Kitchen mixer tapDonnaLove the matt finish, the tap and pull out spout works well.4
Almaren Mixer does not last.AndreasIt seemed like a great product and has been pretty functional until now. I purchased this nearly three years ago and now it started leaking at the handle base. Thinking it would just need a ceramic cartridge replacement I open it up and noticed that the interior has started corroding. This corrosion is causing the leak around the seal.2
Almaren Kitchen mixer tapPatrickI was a little uncertain about what the quality would be like however was pleasantly surprised. It’s well made, feels solid and the finish is quite nice. Install was fairly simple and so far so good. 5
Good tap..enjoying itAnonymousExcellent value, good tap5
Overall good!TheoMy kitchen tap ALMARE less than 2 years its leaking already! I don’t use much as I am a FIFO worker most of my time at work! Is it possible to get replace? Thanks4
Not greatChrisOn our second one, both had the pull out braided hose split, flooding the cupboard underneath the sink. Enjoy the 10 year warranty because you’ll need it. Do not loose your receipt!2

Good quality AmrithaBought this pull out mixer tap couple weeks back so can’t tell anything in a hurry, sometimes the pull out spout is not going back on it’s own and won’t stay tight in its place but it looks beautiful in my kitchen and sink my sink was small and thought this tap would look odd but I am wrong . 4
Great quality and good lookingArianReally high quality and also looks great5
It’s not a bad tap for the price the quality is fantastic SoulaThe tap works very well the only issue I have with it is that the bit that gets pulled out isn’t long enough for the size sink I have the previous tap I had was from ikea and it had a longer pull out hose that the only reason I’ve given it 3 stars 3
Quality valueDiegoEasy to purchase, easy to install, great to use5
Almaren Tap hose sprung a leakAnonymous reviewerWhile tap was well priced and worked well for 2 years. Hose has sprung multiple leaks, causing flooding in the cupboard.2
Replacement tap.LynetteI am happy with the look of the tap and how easy it was to fit however after it was installed I have noticed a bubble appears on the tap. After reading the reviews I am hoping the tap does not start dripping as stated in the reviews. This tap was for a replacement for another tap I bought 8 years ago and was under warranty. The experience with IKEA on the tap Warranty was excellent. I could not fault them. 4
Leaking after 14 months Anonymous reviewerHas worked perfectly up until now, it has sprung a leak at the end of the hose where you can't see it and has in turn flooded my kitchen cabinets. It has lasted 14 months.1

Material

What is brass?

Brass is a mixture of copper and zinc and the amounts vary depending on the desired properties. Copper is usually the main material and the more zinc you add results in the brass being harder and stronger, but also results in it being more difficult to shape and less resistant to rust. Brass can be recycled as brass but never into its original metals. At IKEA we use brass for things like knobs, handles, frames and taps.
