IKEA is now easier to access and more affordable for regional Aussies as four new Collection Points open in NSW, with more to follow

IKEA Australia has opened four new Collection Points in key towns across NSW, offering more customers, convenient and affordable ways to get their hands on the Swedish retailer’s home furnishings.

Operated by delivery partner Team Global Express (TGE), the Collection Points in Orange, Coffs Harbour, Lismore and Albury are open on weekdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Collection prices for IKEA Family members (it’s free to join) is just $35 when spending $500 or more, a significant saving when compared with delivery to the door.

Giovanni Rutigliano, Country Digital and Expansion Manager, IKEA Australia and New Zealand said, “New Collection Points mean more Australian can access our products, even if they live far away from our big blue box stores. These four collection points, and other locations to follow, create better access to IKEA’s quality, affordable and sustainable home furnishing solutions.

“Customers in these areas have been able to get IKEA products delivered to their door for many years now, but we know they have been eager for more options at a better price, and we have listened. Grouping orders from the same area together and delivering to a central point for customers to pick up themselves is a way we can make the offer more affordable, for more people.”

It’s easy for IKEA customers in Orange, Coffs Harbour, Lismore and Albury to take advantage of the new Collection Points. All they need to do is order via the IKEA website, app or with the help of an IKEA expert over the phone and select collection from their nearest Pick Up Point when they reach the checkout step. Customers will be updated by email or SMS until their order is ready to be collected.

These four new locations add to the other 10 Collection Points located around the country, including in Newcastle, Wollongong, Geelong, Hobart and Launceston.

Locations:

Coffs Harbour – 14-16 Hurley Drive, Coffs Harbour 2450
