How does your assembly service work?
Our assemblers will assemble your flat pack items in the comfort of your own home or property. Easily book our assembly service in-store, online or by contacting us.
Our assembly providers come on site to assemble your IKEA flat pack furniture*. Rates depend on how long it takes to assemble the products you have. You can check the pricing at our checkout online.
We're always more than happy to help you with your assembly needs. However, keep in mind that the following actions are excluded from our assembly service: electrical work and the installation of ceiling mounted lighting, curtain rods and any electronics.
Once you have booked in an assembly service, our providers may send you a text on the day prior to confirm your booking. The time window provided represents when the assembler may arrive, not the duration of the service. You or someone else will need to be present for the service. If it has passed your booking window and you have not had contact from your assembler, please contact us.
Please note, the assembler will require access to adequate parking near the assembly address. If there is no free parking available, like visitor or street parking, then you may be asked to pay for the assembler's parking fee.
Here are the ways you can book in an assembly service:
- If purchasing online, you can add the service to your shopping bag when checking out with your products on our website. Please note this option only applies to when you are purchasing products (i.e. you can't purchase assembly by itself).
- You can purchase assembly in-store at our Home Delivery counter located after the checkouts.
- To book remotely, simply get in touch with us and have your order number or receipt with the products you'd like to have assembled ready.
* IKEA Assemblers will only assemble IKEA furniture and can not be booked through IKEA to assemble outside retailers furniture. IKEA assemblers does not include any kitchen installation works.
