What do I do if my delivery has failed?
If you delivery was unsuccessful, don't worry. We'll make sure your order can be delivered as soon as we can.
We're sorry to hear that your delivery didn't go as planned. For us to better understand what has happened, we will need to know what type of delivery service was connected to your order.
Truck deliveries
If your truck delivery has failed, or you were not home for your truck delivery, please contact us. Please have your case number ready, if you have been provided one. A re-delivery fee may apply.
Parcel deliveries
IKEA Australia uses either TGE or Australia Post to deliver your parcel.
If your parcel is being delivered by TGE, they may leave a card in your mailbox or at your doorstep. Tracking on TGE will also show the delivery as an unsuccessful attempt. In this case, please contact TGE directly to arrange a redelivery.
If your parcel is being delivered by Australia Post, you will receive an SMS or email to notify you of a failed delivery with instructions on how to proceed with getting your order. You can check the status of your parcel on the Australia Post website.
