What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all the Australian issued cards including EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, HUMM90, HUMM Loan, Afterpay and IKEA Gift Cards are accepted online and in stores. Please note if customer wants to pay with gift card, that must be Australian issued, as an example, An American Express gift card issued in Canada, cannot be used in Australia.
In-store
We accept EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, Union Pay, JCB, HUMM90, HUMM Loan, Afterpay, PayPal (for refunds only), IKEA Gift Cards and Refund cards. We also accept cash in store but prefer contactless payment methods.
WeChat Pay and AliPay are currently available for a trial period in our Tempe & Rhodes (NSW) and Springvale & Richmond (VIC) stores. Please note, customers choosing to pay with WeChat Pay or AliPay have accepted the terms and conditions of that payment platform, and the provider’s Privacy Policy applies to handling of data.
Please note we don't accept Zip pay. We do however offer interest free finance for long term purchases through HUMM. To find out more about HUMM, click here.
We do not accept payment by cheque. Payment by bank transfer is available to IKEA for Business customers. Create an IKEA for Business account here.
Online Appointments
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, HUMM90, HUMM Loan, Afterpay, PayPal, Apple Pay, IKEA Gift Cards and IKEA Refund cards.

Online
We accept the following Australian EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Afterpay, PayPal, Apple Pay, HUMM90 physical card details and IKEA Gift and Refund Cards. Please note that online purchases can only be placed if you are in Australia and using an Australian issued card with exception of PayPal that can be used worldwide. Refund cards can be used if it has been provided with a 4-digit pin code. We also do not offer split payments online. HUMM90 and HUMM Loan can be processed via the Remote selling teams HUMM portal.
PayPal offers a four-installment payment plan when you shop online.
