What benchtops does IKEA offer?
We offer pre-cut laminate and thick veneer benchtops as well as custom Porcelain and Glass composite benchtops. The custom-made worktops come with a templating and installation service and must be installed on your new IKEA METOD kitchen cabinets.
Most of our pre-cut worktops come in a depth of 63.5cm and are offered in two standard sizes:
- Length: 186cm or 246cm
- Thickness: 2.8cm or 3.8cm
Also, a 90cm depth pre-cut laminate benchtop is available in limited colours and size range.
- Length: 246cm
- Thickness: 2.8cm or 3.8cm
Strengthening our low-price offer is our BTI worktop, the MÖCKLERYD (123cm x 2.2cm) a great addition to a stretched and competitive worktop offer. Would be a great solution for a couple of 60cm METOD base cabinets.

Our pre-cut benchtops are offered in the following materials:
- Laminate - A plastic material that is practical, flexible, and affordable. Highly scratch-resistant and easy to clean.
- Thick veneer - A top layer of solid, natural wood. Requires oiling at regular intervals to avoid the wood drying out.
If you are interested in purchasing from our custom worktop and wall panel range, please book in a kitchen planning appointment to discuss the IKEA kitchen and worktops. IKEA can offer custom MÖCKLARP porcelain or LOCKEBO glass composite benchtops. Available in a range of colours and edge profiles.
