Lacko Metal ShelvesHelenI bought this to replace a pine plant stand that couldn't hold the weight of my indoor plants any more. Lacko is elegant, strong, and the metallic colouring looks great against the natural green of the leaves. The design is nice and simple, meaning it doesn't clash with the intricate and colourful patterns of the planters I'm using. It rusted.HisakoThe parts were too heavy for me, so I had to hire a handyman to assemble it. The design is great and it looked perfect on my apartment balcony. However, after 6 months, red rust appeared. Despite being near the sea, my other outdoor furniture (not from IKEA) is fine. The rust stains on the balcony tiles are hard to remove and look awful. I can't disassemble it myself and might have to hire someone again. Returning it would cost as much in petrol as the product price. I'm very disappointed and angry. Two weeks ago, my IKEA tap broke after six months, and no parts were available. I've been continuously let down by IKEA products. An outdoor shelf that rusts is unacceptable.
