For Ikea, it's pretty good.BeckyI was very pleased to discover (especially at this price point) that the shelves are solid wood, rather than particle board. The assembled unit is lightweight because the metal frame is hollow, but it's also quite sturdy and stable. The look is great; attractive, and also doesn't scream "Ikea" when you look at it. However, this was a total pain to assemble. The instructions were not clear enough to prevent me from completing a step with a part facing the wrong way, despite the fact that I was working slowly and carefully. As well, Ikea couldn't be bothered to drill holes in the wood shelves, and I don't own a drill, so I had the arduous task of getting 24 screws in by sheer force, which took ages. But then again, it's Ikea, so you can't expect a quality user experience.4

Very bad assembling instructionsDeepThe product looks great and sturdy once build, but the assembling instructions were terrible. I had to open remove wrong parts a few mores types because the instructions were ambitious. The wooden plate does not have holes for screw so you need to drill in them. I have doubts about it lasting one move.1

I bought five of these for books and stuff. They are extremely solid and sturdy and look beautiful. Assembly was a little difficult as the instructions could have been better but these are a solid bargain.
