Shelves not adjustable TanyaQuality is decent and bookcase is easy to put together. When I purchased these, I didn't realize the shelves were not adjustable, so half the space is wasted with the books I wanted to display. (Space between shelves is approximately 12", my books are only 7" tall). I will be returning all but the one I already put together and will have to look elsewhere for something that works better with my books and within my space.3

Lovely BookcaseKerry-AnnThis book case is strong and sturdy! I feel like I've put 1,000 hardcovers of varying sizes/weight and it's holding everything gracefully with no bowing of the shelves. The color and height, as well as the number of shelves make for an attractive book case. Not too large or imposing. Perfect for my children's book stash in their playroom or a cute little space anywhere in the home for books and decorative items. Very easy to assemble, but be very careful with the nails on the back to not ruin the wood and follow the included instructions. Took me about 30 minutes or so to assemble on my own. Overall I'm very satisfied.5
