Love this lamp, big, soft glowJolieBought to use as a workspace lamp for Zoom calls. It diffuses light perfectly. The lamp is surprisingly light. The bottom can feel a little flimsy, but no issue if it isn’t moved often.
Love it - looked and performed great!AidinOwning it for about 4 yrs now. I put it at the top of my 6ft ladder bookcase in a corner of my living room (with an IKEA bulb), and it worked great at being well-lit without being harsh on my eyes. I kept the cable and the on/off switch attached to the wall behind the bookcase to keep things neat. It looked and performed great!

unsafe and poorly madeDonnyI had this lamp for less than 24 hours before it broke. The glass is extremely thin and fragile. When I tried to move it from my nightstand, the base shattered completely. This feels very unsafe and poorly made. I would not recommend buying it.
Don’t buyJenniferI had this one week and picked it up to move it to another place on the console table. The bottom which holds the bulb fell off and broke a chunk out of the glass globe. I should have listened to other reviewers!!!!!

Nice but flimsyAnaThe base of the lamp is very flimsy, does not hold the glass globe well. It took just a slight nudge while I was cleaning around it and the globe came loose, rolled off and shattered. Had it less than two months. Very disappointing.

Love it!VirginiaI’ve had two of these lamps in my windows for several years. Love the glow they give but after many years of being in the sun the plastic base began to crack and disintegrate. Looking for a new base as my globes are still fine. Can anyone help?

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
