Product details

You don’t need a bedside table when you have storage in the headboard. This saves space and makes it easier to access boxes or drawers under the bed; and it’s easier to vacuum too.

One of the shelves can be adjusted to 3 different positions.

Hide cables for lamps and chargers by feeding them through the holes at the top of the headboard.

Ikea should start listing how many pieces are included in their write-ups, and maybe have a a difficulty level, i.e. novice, intermediate, expert. Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.

With the BRIMNES bedroom series you can make room for your things - even in a small space. That's because there are four large pull-out drawers in the bed frame and the headboard holds the things you need close at hand. If you need even more storage, add one or more wall cabinets.
