Looks Nice - Works PoorlyEdLooks very nice with a satin finish. However, it fails at its intended purpose. The teeth on the arms jump out of alignment when removing tight corks, thus ruining the tool. Not up to normal IKEA quality standards.1

Can handle ice wine corks.Anonymous reviewerIce wine corks are longer, with narrow bottle necks. This wing corkscrew removed the cork without a struggle. The end of the plungeolum is also a bottlecap opener. Not recommended for brittle vintage corks but works well with supple corks. Good price.5

Despite not having the sturdy feel of of the traditional corkscrew of this design, it does actually work well. I like the dual purpose for corks and bottle tops and it's easy to use. Brilliant for taking on a picnic
