Needs better sensitivityAndrewThe idea is great, the functionality is great, but.,. Only when it is functioning. Unfortunately the sensitivity of the push arm is not that great. Sometimes you need a few kicks for the drawer to open. This is annoying. I wish there either be a sensitivity regulator or the Blum engineers come up with a better design. Nevertheless, I still recommend it for the garbage pull out drawer.4

Friends of ours had theHenkFriends of ours had the equivalent product manufactured by a name brand cabinet hardware company, with a slightly better build quality, installed. It cost them for a 5 times the cost to have an automatic garbage pull out drawer installed as what it cost me to install the UTRUSTA. It was a bit fiddly, but if you follow the instructions and take your time, the end results is fantastic. I scored major brownie points, my wife loves it!5

I was originally looking at the Blum owner and was happy to find the IKEA version to be almost identical and much cheaper and easier to find. Installation was easy and it works perfectly. I wish I had bought this years ago!
