Great as a table, requires duct tapeCherylI bought this to use as a laptop stand. It works great and I love the holes to help keep my computer cool. The only thing is the screws don't go flush with the surface. So, you have to deal with 8 little bumps on the corners of the table surface. I covered them up with duct tape to prevent them from scratching my computer. Other than that, it works great. I have been using it for about 5 years and it has held up well. It bought another to use as a shelf insert and it works great there too.4

I have bought lots of these over the yearsJuliaI have these in my cupboards for storing glasses, mugs, spices. I attached some together to make a shoe rack. I spray painted another, I use them to hold earrings (hack), to display vases. I plan to made a rolling shelf for beside the fridge as other options are too wide. It has gone up in cost a few dollars over the years. If I put it in a wet area, the coating comes off and the legs start to rust so I don't do that and I use little rubber stickers on the bottom. I think they used to come with the shelves. Not sure if they still do. 5
