shelf does not fit.CharmaineI had to get a rubber mallet to get some of the parts to fit correctly. Even after doing the rubber mallet, the shelf was too long.
I still use it, but it would have been nice to have the shelf.

Came damaged, and is hard to put together!EveThis is the most difficult piece of furniture that I have ever tried to assemble. The pegs do not line up with the divider piece. In the end, the shelf piece does not even slide in! Two boards were chipped, and there is a giant brown stain on the large piece. I saw the negative reviews and ignored them, but I've learned my lesson.

Fell apart within monthsDiannaIt was impossible to put together and took me well over an hour, and it's been sitting to the side for six weeks with nothing but my cats sitting in the little cubby. Just went to move it and the entire thing collapsed with one shake. I'm glad it didn't do that while my cats were in it!
VIHALSAdrianThis is a miserable design, the side panels are very difficult to fit in. In the process, there was chipping to the panels and to the double holes. The mid shelf is too long and doesn't fit unless you angle it and you press hard. This results into further scratching of the side panels.

Coffee Table Repurposed as a TV StandChandlorI own several pieces of Ikea furniture. This Vihals coffee table has to be the easiest piece I have ever assembled. I'm using it as a TV stand in my guest bedroom. The only gripe I have is that it's a tad short.
Coffee table/TV standMaryLove how easy it was to assemble! Looks great but we need to add some legs for height as we are going to use this as a TV stand in our bedroom. Not a problem. It will be finished after we finish unpacking from moving.

Versatile pieceJeanneRelatively easy to put together. Using it for storage rather than as a coffee table and it's a bit too low so had to come up with a different way to support, but looks great.
BubbleRiaI love the design and it’s perfect for small spaced living room. However, there is a minor defect on one of it’s sides. It’s like a bubbled paint. I would like to have it exchanged but I don’t have the time do so.
