A waste of time & moneyMattI ordered a white Baggboda table and it arrived damaged. I drove an hour to IKEA, returned it, and bought a new one. When I went to assemble it, I found that the holes were drilled on the wrong side of the bars, making it impossible to attach the boards to the metal frame. How is such a quality control oversight even possible? I called IKEA and explained the situation, but was told that the table is no longer in stock and has been discontinued. I can’t see myself shopping at IKEA again after this frustrating experience.1
Missing major partCalistaCame home, was excited to build this piece to be used as our coffee table. Only to be confused (our package was fully sealed & new) and disappointed that the package is missing a major key part of the product - the table top plank! How is this possible??? Now we have to drive back to IKEA and return it. This isn’t the first occurrence. Our kitchen island also came dusty and scratched in the corners. IKEA prices have gone up and the quality control has really gone down the drain…1
Wanted to likeLibbyWanted to like this but the top and bottom pieces BOTH arrived with the corners completely shredded so the brown exterior is showing (will attach pictures if they let me). Also the holes in the bars did not line up with the holes in the tables in some spots and that completely compromised the integrity of the table as it can't screw in at all places and the holes are just exposed. When I chatted Ikea about it, they said that I can get a refund if I return it, lol. Took me a while to put it together and will take me a while to take it apart. Overall pretty disappointed in the quality and in the customer service at Ikea1
Iconic style, well madeAnonymousBought two of the yellow ones and didn't know how I would feel about the color but I ended up liking it a lot in my space. The table surface is actually quite sturdy - I expected it to be like cheap, hollow board but it feels very solid and difficult to scratch etc. These go great with my Breuer Cesca chairs and I wish IKEA would offer more tubular steel furniture like this in the future. The holes in the steel tubes are different sizes etc so pay close attention to the instructions and you should not have a problem. I built two and they're perfect.5
Sleek and modernTerryThis is a beautiful side table, I wish this could be used as a coffee table but it's odly sized so it's more of a piece used in an empty space. I hide my wifi router on the bottom shelf and the rest of the space is used for decor. 5
Defect in productMichelleSome people have stated it in their reviews but please note that there's an off chance you might get a product that has a defect in it. The holes of the rods aren't in the correct position so it makes screwing on the tabletop impossible. Instead of facing up, they face side to side. You can't screw on the tabletop like this because the holes aren't in the right position. I've had this unfortunately happen to me and IKEA customer service has been a real pain to deal with. So much grievance and inconvenience for a $80 product is not worth it. I'm still in the middle of trying to get them to refund me or send me a NON-defective product. Only get this item if you have time on your hands to kill and you're willing to take the risk of getting a defective product! 1
Cute Table but rocks back and forthMartinThis end table is really nice and feels good! However after assembling it I noticed that one corner is lifted off of the ground. When I put something on or take something off of the table it rocks back and forth. Really annoying. Is this normal for this table? 2
Fits perfectly in my living roomAustinUsing this as a stand for my stereo and turntable. Fits perfectly with the decor in my living room, as I’m going for a 70s modern look. Like other reviewers have said, IKEA, PLEASE make a coffee table in this style and a version in black! And if you would make a coffee table in this style with smoked glass instead of wood, all of my prayers would be answered!5
Please come out with black !BayleeWaiting for a coffee table version or black version!3
Looks GreatJohnI'm using this as a printer stand and it works great. It took a little time to put together but it was worth it.5
Interesting Modern Side TableDavidA very interesting take on the mid-30's Kn%%l side table. A bit more functional (and slightly less elegant) than the original due to the addition of a lower shelf, it also misses the ability to stack over a companion coffee table like the original. As IKEA are sadly not offering a coffee table in this series (really??) that is a non-issue. If you're into this early 20th century modern look, this one is hard to pass up on. IKEA... please... a coffee table companion to this side table!! Make a black option as well. 4
