This product needs a recallJennyI purchased this product in a different color(brownish shade) which seems like the color is discontinued. I had this glass in the sink, and nothing was in the glass or touching it but it suddenly shattered to pieces while I was sitting in the dining room. I took a picture of it to leave as proof if IKEA ever contacted me. I read other low rate reviews and obviously I’m not the only one who experienced this. This product obviously needs a recall.
Spontaneous shattering EmI love these glasses, they’re stunning. However I bought them just under two weeks ago. One already shattered in the dishwasher even though they’re marked dishwasher safe. I have since read multiple reviews of these randomly shattering! Just feels unsafe to continue selling these with multiple reports of this happening!
Unsafe product due to shatteringAlexisI liked these glasses until one shattered on my counter with room temperature water in it. This product should be recalled for safety issues. The reviews show other accounts of these glasses shattering unexpectedly as well.
Shattered Unexpectedly AlexisI like the color of these glasses and had no complaints until this morning. I was stirring liquid in the glass with a spoon and it completely shattered. It seems like other people have had experiences similar to this. I would not recommend this product for safety reasons.

Shatters!MelissaI absolutely love these glasses, but I just had one shatter spontaneously. It had an inch of room temperature water in it and hadn’t been touched in several hours. Luckily no pets or kids were injured!

We had an explosion!HollieWe love the smaller version of this glass and have been using them for many many years. Got the larger ones when they became available, but I never liked them as much. The grooves on the outside are much more pronounced than on the smaller glasses and they didn't feel like the same cup at all. We don't use them often for that reason. Well tonight one was sitting on the counter and completely exploded everywhere with such force we thought a bullet hit it! It was clean, empty, and hadn't been touched in several hours. Why hasn't Ikea recalled these glasses?!

Beautiful color, but fragileAllisonI love the vintage look of these cups, but bear in mind they are rather fragile. When I shopped in store many of them were already broken, and earlier this week I found one has broken. I don't recommend stacking them as that's how mine broke, but they are beautiful.
