The smart design means that the table top has no seams when you use the table without extending it.

The legs remain at each end of the table when extended, giving more room for chairs to go around.

Its perfect, it doesn't take up a lot of space because it isn't super wide but it is nice and long and can fit 6 chairs. The color is nice, we did the brown top with black legs and it look nice with black or brown furniture. I recommend if you really need a table but don't have a ton to spend. Easy to assemble and set up.5

Love my new WFH desk/table!Smellen99I bought this a few weeks ago via curbside pick up. I was looking for a desk that offered more work space so i figured I'd get this table. It is perfect because sometimes I eat at my desk so the top is more stain resistant than an actual desk would be- which is a bonus feature I love. Assembly was easier because I had help- the moving parts make it a little trickier than other ikea furniture. But def was my best WFH investment during covid19. I love how stark white it is and it has minimal lines- it is sturdy but not bulky. Perfect workspace for me with all my monitors, printers and papers. :) And I look forward to extending it when i have bigger projects to work on and will need a larger workspace. I love the option of having both. :)5
