Product details

The table has a full plank design that gives it an authentic plank expression with a genuine wood feeling.

The plank expression is enhanced by the design on the edges.

Oak is an exceedingly strong and durable hardwood with a prominent grain. It darkens beautifully with age acquiring a golden-brown undertone.

Every table is unique, with varying grain pattern and natural color shifts that are part of the charm of wood.

Tested and approved for use in public areas, such as restaurants, which means it is extra durable and stands up to extensive, everyday use.

Adore this tableBlair S.I bought this table in 2016 and it still looks brand new. We loved it so much that when we temporarily moved to a smaller house we bought the smaller one. We are now back in a house that fits the big table, but we just bought a second hand round one to see how we like it. This line is so easy to build, so easy to clean and doesn't chip or scratch easily. It was cheaper when we bought it but I think it's still worth the current price5

Table top caved-in in the middle/ no warrantyMunish G.I love Ikea products. This table just does not live up to the standards. Both pieces of the table top have caved-in despite light use of about a year. One side caved-in more than the other. So now the top is not even level. Be aware that this table carries no warranty. Before I thought all Ikea products carried some warranty.1
Stunning! (but first one we had to exchange)MadelineWe bought this table the day we moved (using a U-Haul). When we tried putting it together, the holes on one side didn't match up enough to complete it. We took it back to IKEA for an exchange, and the next one was perfect. This table is HEAVY, so that was the biggest inconvenience. And the three boxes it comes in fit in our minivan. We also added 1 inch wood risers on the legs to make it higher. It is now the perfect table. It is so well made!5

Perfect TableLaurenI was looking for a 6 person table and I was shocked when I found this at Ikea. I was used to Ikea providing smaller tables however I was pleasantly surprised to find this sturdy piece of furniture on their showroom floor. It's very heavy, well made, and easy to put together (I did need a second person to get it turned right side up once the legs were adhered). It's the perfect neutral brown color for my apartment.5

Material

What is veneer?

A veneer is a thin wooden sheet attached to things like particleboard to add a durable surface and a natural wood look – so we enjoy the many benefits of wood without using solid wood. The most common veneer types are birch, ash, oak, and beech, and we’ve made a special UV lacquer that helps preserve the wood's natural structure. A benefit with a slightly thicker veneer is how you can repair and sand the surface if it’s damaged to give furniture a longer and more beautiful life.
