Gorgeous tables! No laquer finish though- unfinishedLaneyI love these tables. I bought multiple tables for a private school, and I love the look and seeming durability. My issue is that it says these have a acrylic/ lacquer finish and they absolutely do not. The wood feels totally unfinished and raw. I'm terrified these will be ruined in days. I will have to wax or finish them myself which is not what I planned for. Please Ikea, update the listing to say they are unfinished or check your inventory to see if unfinished tables are being sent by mistake?4
Great look / flawed assemblyLoriThe table is attractive, and the top feels impressively heavy. Unfortunately, the assembly design is flawed. Sure, the legs go in easily, but the plastic wedges with screws that are supposed to keep the legs in place? - THEY DON'T WORK. Mine are not turning properly, and the one that did turn imediately split. I'm frustrated that once again, Ikea has designed a beautiful piece of furniture that is maddening to put together and depends on some cheap pieces of plastic for "stability." I will likely keep the table because I don't have a vehicle to haul a 78-inch table back to the store. But this sucks.3

This is the best table we found for this length with the affordable price. We absolutely love everything about this table : the color, the height, the length. We were able to fit 6 chairs around the table. 5

I love this tableKatieThis is one of the better Ikea items. It's sturdy, heavyweight, easy to assemble, understatedly stylish, and absolutely practical. I bought this for my studio space as my watercolor painting table and I am thoroughly pleased with it. It took about 10 minutes to unpack, assemble, and move into place. It's exactly perfect.5
