Love the square platesAllisonI bought some of the smaller square plates from this series. They're so cute. But I am not a fan of the look of the square bowls, so instead of the set, I bought some IKEA 360 bowls and they look great. 4
Arrived brokenMingyiBetter to buy them in store if you can. I loved the product and Ikea has good customer service but I wish Ikea would pack them better to avoid wasting resources.
One side plate arrived with a half inch dent on the edge, which doesn’t seem to be due to shipping since I didn’t find the broken piece in the box. I contacted customer service and got a replacement set. The replacement set was horribly packed, with only two layers of weaving paper—far worse than the packing of the first set I received. Three large plates and four bowls arrived broken into pieces. This is very disappointing since they were the first dinnerware set I bought for my new place! I didn't want broken items at my place!4

My Modern set of Vargara Dishes LynnNever broke 1 dish, but somehow they keep disappearing. I saw 1 being used as a cat bowl in a relative’s house. And then 1 was taken home for dinner leftovers. I must get a new set of dishes, or a different set of relatives.
Relatives and friends; Go to Ikea and buy your own new set of dishes. Reluctantly, so will I. 4

Simple, modern & great qualityAnnI wanted minimal & minimalist dinnerware and this set is perfect. The dinner plates are not huge, the dessert plates have multiple uses (I also use for setting my spatula/spoons while cooking) & the bowl is the perfect shape & size that can be used for cereal as well as pasta. I have blue & white rice and ramen bowls that complements this set. I’ve not had any issues with chipping or not sitting level that other reviewers mentioned - the quality is great. And so is the price. I’m very happy I chose this set!5

Great for every day useSheriThey are a good size (not too large). My only complaint (just like other dishes I've had) they don't sit level. It's a pet peeve of mine and I can't seem to find every day dishes that are level.4
