Microwave great, installation instructions badBobWe love the new microwave and it's many easy to use features. That said, the installation (in a brand new Ikea kitchen) was a nightmare. Ikea's instructions didn't include any info that the oven needs to be installed about 3" out from the wall. Ikea provides a metal spacer for the offset from the wall, but none of us figured that out until we'd fussed with the installation for hours. In addition, the connection to the exterior vent was impossible. The vent adapter is a very flimsy piece of aluminum, and it got bent and eventually destroyed in the installation.4

Excellent Potato Sensor Cook FeatureAnnaI bought this for a ski condo in Sun Valley, Idaho, which at 6000 ft above sea level, affects how fast things cook/bake. I had two beautiful, large Idaho potatoes and tested the potato feature on this microwave with them. All I did was press the potato button and the microwave started to sensor cook them. I didn't need to enter the quantity. And I kid you not, the potatoes were PERFECT. I didn't time it, but I think it just took around 10 minutes, maybe 15 tops. Holy smokes I thought, microwaves are now like iPhones, you have to upgrade every so often. Who knew?5
Beautiful and functionalRoseWe renovated our kitchen and needed a 24" wide, above the range microwave. The sleek, beautiful design
of the Valskapt fits the space perfectly. The control panel is on the lower edge of the door, so the interior space is very large. It is easy to use and heats/cooks perfectly. Unless you are very handy and precise, I would definitely recommend professional installation.5
