True convection blows hot air through an extra heating element in the back of the oven. It cooks faster and outperforms standard convection when it comes to baking, browning and dehydrating food.
The self-cleaning function burns grease and food residue to ashes that can easily be wiped off. It can be programmed from 2-4 hours depending on the need for deep cleaning.
The Steam clean function cleans light soils in 20 minutes and is both chemical- and odor-free.
Electric ignition by using the push-and-turn knob.

This oven needs to be recalledEmmaThe main problem is the rear vents: they blow a constant, forceful stream of hot air directly into your face the entire time the oven is on—even with the door fully closed. It’s uncomfortable enough that you instinctively step back or avoid standing in front of it while it’s running. The airflow feels like a hot fan pointed right at you and the top burners which become unusable due to the wind.
On top of that, the two interior lights on the side walls are mounted at noticeably different heights (one higher than the other). This creates an optical illusion when you look inside: the food appears to be baking unevenly (darker on one side, lighter on the other), even though everything actually cooks evenly. It makes you doubt the oven or rotate trays more than necessary.
The only reason I’m giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is IKEA’s great customer service—they not only allowed me to return it, but they came to my home to pick it up.
We love our new range!NestorSo far we love this range! We love the design of the burners because, unlike practically ALL other ranges, it was the only one that had all the burners properly spaced from one another. They are so far apart from each other that we can place large pots and pans in the entire range and they fit perfectly fine! It's extremely well designed for the size of this range. However we rarely use the oven (and I see that is something that people are complaining about) and when we do use it we don't use the range at the same time. I would say that if the cooktop is your main reason for buying a range look no further! I also noticed that everything feels very heavy duty and high quality the knobs the grates and the oven door. Not only that but it looks very beautiful!
TerribleNickI want to add that these vent fans that blow while the oven is on mean that you cannot cook on the rear burners while the oven is on. A saucepan, for example, directs the fanned air down onto the burner and blows it out. I cannot fathom how anyone could design a range like this. Did we get a lemon. I either going to cut the wire for the fan or place a price of metal to deflect the air. Why blow hot air out of the oven while cooking, doesn't this seem crazy?
Awful.NickWe bought this range as part of a new kitchen and we absolutely hate it. The worst feature is the vent fans which blow hot air in your face while it's warming up, cooking and cooling down. It's like running a fan heater in your face . Wish we could return it
