Clunky and noisy, but does the jobDawnTILLREDA is a bit clunky and noisy, but it heats up quickly and has worked well so far. We bought it so we'd have an induction burner while our kitchen was being remodeled. It served the purpose.4
Compact and portableBarbaraI’ve never used an induction cooktop before. It takes a bit of getting used to. I have it set up on a nissafors workstation in my kitchen. It’s faster than my electric stovetop for everything from boiling water for pasta to searing to the perfect grilled cheese sandwich. Changing to a lower temperature is quick - no waiting for elements to cool down. I had to purchase new pots because my old ones (40 years old) weren’t compatible. Overall, it was a good investment for me.5
SmallJohnIt seems to work well, but the small size of the burner isn't well communicated by the packaging and store displays. This is less of a problem online, where there are clear pictures.
I'm not sure if there's a logistical reason it needs to be so small, or if that's just what you can get at this price point.3
Fantastic extra burnerLanceSo versatile, use on countertop in kitchen or next to the BBQ grill. The large burner heats up really fast with water boiling in under 5 minutes. Stable, even heat and quick, easy clean up.5
Solid purchaseEstelleI'd never realized until now how much gas stove emissions were upsetting my asthma! And it works better than gas too! Quicker, more responsive, and im not sweltering over a hot stove in the summer. I already use a cast iron skillet so didn't need any new pans, needed a new pot but Ikea sells one for like $10. Yeah no I'm so happy with this purchase even six months later5
Loving itPhiyenI tried this out before I replace my gas range with a convection cooktop and I like that it heated up fast, easy to use, no gas odor, no ignition problem and good price. I had to buy new pots and pans for a convection cooktop.4
Works well!AndreEasy to use, works great, compact.5
Very nice little cooktopArianneI bought this to cut back on kitchen emissions in the winter and have been very pleased with its performance. It boils water SO fast, faster than my gas stove. It also wipes down easily. Most of my existing stainless steel pans (calphalon) work beautifully on it. Having read all of the reviews, I will note that just just being magnetic or stainless steel is not a guarantee that a pan will be compatible with an induction cooktop. Many pans have a copper layer embedded in the base which will inhibit induction. Overall, I am very happy with my cooktop. Now I just have to wait for ikea to come out with an induction Moka pot.5
Wørkṣ Wønders!ElileWørks wonders! Highly recommended.5
small and goodMARKgood for my smallest kitchen and as extra cooktop5
Best Inexpensive Convection Hot PlateBryanGreat little convection hot plate at a very reasonable price!5
HorribleKassieI bought this induction cooktop for my camper since we live in it full time and thought this would be perfect for my family. However I have been through 2 sets of pans and both with magnetic base’s because I have a magnetic heat pad for after I’m done cooking to rest my hot pans on that magnetizes to my pans and for some reasons these 2 sets do not work with this cooktop. I’m not going to buy anymore pans at all to try with this cooktop and I’m so disappointed in this cooktop after being so excited at first to be able to use this for the ease of it. Sadly I’m disappointed and definitely would not recommend1

Works Great!AlexThis is a great induction cooktop, perfect for my small studio apartment when I'm cooking meals for myself. It's quicker and more efficient than the gas stove I was previously using. In fact, it's so powerful that I only need to use the lower half of the 10 power settings.
I also appreciate that it is compact, lightweight, and quiet. In these respects it is better than another name-brand induction cooktop I previously purchased (at a similar price point) and which I ultimately replaced with this product. I also love the touch screen and the easy-to-clean surface.
The only thing to keep in mind with induction cooking is that it is only compatible with magnetic cookware. Fortunately, IKEA also sells induction-compatible cookware such as the trusty ANNONS 5-piece set which I use for the majority of my cooking.5
Great cooking surfaceNancyI love this! It works wonderfully with cast iron pans.5
