Product details

The outer cover is easy to remove and is machine washable at 140°F (Hot).

Your child can choose the comfort they prefer since the polyurethane foam has two different surfaces. The egg-shaped pattern has a medium-firm comfort, and the smooth side has a firmer comfort.

The zipper of this mattress has a little pocket where you can hide the pull tab from the hands of curious children.

Works for its purposeAI was looking for a size between "crib/toddler" and "twin" for a small bedroom we have, and I built a custom frame for it. It's a great size. IKEA sells a fitted sheet for it. A small/average adult could sleep on this occasionally but I intended it for a 50lb child's nightly bed. It appears to be a dense piece of egg-crate foam covered with a non-removable quilt layer. Then there's a removable quilt layer zipped over that. I bought it early so I could let it expand and off-gas ahead-of-time and wash the linens. So far, I'm satisfied by this purchase.5

Material

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.
