Great electric rangeSolonOur old stove had recently died suddenly and we decided to try this Ikea one as a replacement. Very happy we did. Price was right. Warranty is much longer than many popular name brands. Induction cooktop is amazing! We did have to replace our (also old) pans as they failed the magnet test, but the new set we got works great. Very pleased overall.
JUST PERFECT!!!BeaI love my induction range more than anything!! He cooks and bakes everything very quickly and perfectly and at a very good price!!
The delivery was also quick and good!
I would buy the Tvärsäker again and again!!
Induction stoveElaineThe storage drawer is very difficult to open, I have stopped using it. The heating elements are fine, oven is fine.
DisappointingDavidI was excited to get an induction range because a chef friend of mine said they were as good as gas! I found the oven to be perfectly adequate but the cooktop was really lame. First of all if you measure the outline of the large "burner" is measures around 11.5" when in reality the cooking element is closer to 6". If you're cooking eggs the middle cooks quickly and the edges will be raw. Second, the cooking element seems to be C shaped so you have to keep rotating the pan to keep the cold spot in check. The medium burners have such small cooking elements they're not good for much and the small one is completely useless. Although they boil water VERY quickly the intense heat comes at a price. The middle of the pan gets unbelievably hot and the edges stay relatively cool so they can warp even expensive cookware and now I have 2 cast iron pans that have high spots so they spin on the cooktop surface. I'll give the range 2 stars because I like the oven and the timer.

Great stove! But not working with light weighted pan.Gulsina A.I enjoy cooking on this induction stove and bake very quickly in the oven. But I find out that my favourite crepes pan doesn't heat up and the control panel just turns off when I put this light weight pan on the stove. So I used a different, heavier pan and it works fine start to heat the pan, but when you make crepes you have to take pan off from the stove to put in the crepes mix. And the stove will automatically turns off. Very dissapointed about this. Info about lightweight pan - Cuisinart 623-24 Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 10-Inch Crepe Pan. Please advise what should I do about that. Thanks
Great RangeVerified BuyerIve really been pleased with this range. Its so much nicer than the one I was using the being able to heat the cookware so evenly is great.
Go InductionAndrewI love my switch to induction from gas. Getting a pan (especially cast iron) up to temp is very fast. Temp control is precise.
Oven is great. Nice racks.
The drawer is a bit tight, oh well.
My one complaint on this particular range is the lip around the cook top is too shallow to contain the slightest boil overs from spilling, dripping over the front to the floor. Even the steam from a roast in the oven can accumulate and spill. Nevertheless, induction is the way to go. Saves energy and cooks as well as gas. Speed to boil is incredible.
Finally - an induction cooktop version!MichalGreat to see an induction cooktop version as opposed to a regular electric or gas cooktop. WIll still want to see how good is the oven (heat insulation). I wish there was a better selection of separate induction cooktops and electric ovens (and also smaller!) like in some European Ikea markets.
AwesomeVerified BuyerI just wish it had a lip so if you boil over it won’t run right off.
A steal for induction-topJamieI was looking to upgrade from gas to induction to cut down on particulates in the kitchen and keep my kiddos' fingers safe. This unit delivered amazingly well - alternatives we considered were nearly twice the cost. The only bad thing I will note about this unit is that the kitchen timer no longer beeps if you disable the control sounds - easily remedied by simply using an external timer (voice assistant, or a $4 one you can get in the Marketplace, or a fancier multi-timer magnetic cadillac). Actual functionality of the cooking surfaces is great. Fast, consistent power in the induction top, and the oven works well - I like that it doesn't have an exposed electric resistance coil at the bottom of the oven. I would buy this unit again in a heartbeat.
It has been a year and I still love it.HeatherI have really enjoyed using this range. I love the induction source of heat. The range is hot from having a hot pot on it, but the stove top isn't red hot like a typical range. I can easily wipe up spills before they are cooked on. I use the recommended glasstop polish, and I never have trouble wiping up spills. The convection oven cooks nicely as well. One of my favorite features is the power button. A can of veges heats up very quickly. It also boils water very quickly. I had to adjust to how quickly the water boiled. I was used to waiting longer. I felt confident buying and trying this induction range with IKEA's return policy. Note you must have cookware that works with the magnetic induction process.
Works great!RossWorks great and looks good too. Very easy to install. "Plug and play" basically.
Great valueTerryGreat value
The control panel can beOlafThe control panel can be a little hard to operate.
You have to really push hard some times.
Wonderful RangeAnnThis is the best range I've ever owned. The heat is quick and even. Burners are self-adjusting to pan size. And of course it's super easy to keep clean. I love this stove.
Love it!ChristoferLove it!
Great inductionRichardI have been wanting a free standing range that was induction but not overly priced. This hits all the notes I was was looking for. Befor free standing ranges were available you could only get a cooktop. As I did not feel like renovating my kitchen again I was searching and searching. I finally came upon this beauty and purchased it. Took a little getting used to but I love the heat control that I have versus electric. Gas is not in my area so this was perfect. I have had this for about three months now and I still love it!!!!
So far it’s great.JeffI haven’t used this very much yet as it’s installed in a vacation property but so far I like it very much. I’ve been using a gas range for 30 years and this is my first induction experience. I must say that I am impressed. The range heats up quickly and is much more sensitive and quicker to react to temperature adjustments than gas. It will boil water much quicker than anything else I’ve ever used. The oven is very steady and consistent for baking. It appears to be very good quality and the standard IKEA warranty cannot be beat. I recommend this range.
