Need to return?Me PBGHello, sadly this topper is not working to fix our Myrbaka mattress (Back Pain). We bought a different IKEA mattress last week and it seems great so far. While I can't get a return on the Myrbaka (I don't have the receipt but perhaps you can see it on my Family Card) I do have the Tussoy Receipt. I did not keep the wrapping but can I still bring it back for a store credit along with the purchase receipt?3

Not what we hopedJulieVAFirst off the mattress topper was really smelly from the packaging. It left a strong odor even after being aired out. I just don't think my husband and I are foam mattress type people. We find that the foam gives a false softness and are actually quite firm. My husband was having pain in his neck so we took it back. Unfortunately, because this is considered a mattress item we could only get credit back for the item and not a refund - so we have a gift card with almost $200 on it and I'm unsure we need to buy anything soon.2
Its hot, smells, and burns, no refund, only creditpapamongooseI purchased the mattress two days ago and noticed immediately the gassing smell was totally different than your usual memory foam. Believe me I have tried many brands and I purchased a similar mattress topper from IKEA in Spain for my spouse and had absolutely no issues with it and was very impressed I wanted to get it again but the one I purchased in Orlando smelled like a mix of chemicals and corn chips. I decided to wash the cover and air out the mattress topper in the sun for two days hoping that would help. The smell reduce a little but it was still noticeable and it lingered through my linen and the old spring mattress I had it on top of. Also, for two nights I noticed my skin had a strange sensation of a sun burning feel when laying on the mattress topper. Not only was my skin irritated but the mattress was very hot and sunk more than average so I decide with these negative factors I needed to return in for a refund. When I went to return the mattress, I explained my issues and I was told the computer system and IKEA's policy would not provide a refund for mattress's so I was given a gift card store credit. The employee pointed out a sign behind her but when I read it, it didn't state that I would only get a store credit. Please post big signs in the mattress area of all your stores and at the return counter that there is only a store credit for mattress returns. Also, I want to point out that the day my family and I was shopping at IKEA while they were doing construction in Orlando, my spouse and my mother experienced an allergic reaction to something in the store on their faces that made them itch and burn.1
