Need to sell replacement brackets!!!!JackieLike the blinds. Easy to install. Look nice. Function well for the most part. We have had them for 5-6 years now.
Areas of improvement:
1. NEED to sell replacement brackets!! My kids were a bit rough and broke a tiny piece off the bracket(about a year in to owning them) Now it just barely is hanging on the wall. So I have a fully functioning $70 blind that I can’t get this special replacement bracket for. Ridiculous!!
2. The little pull tab broke on all 3 of mine in the first month. Now it pinches fingers when you go to pull them down. These really need to be stronger.
3. More color options would be very helpful. I’m using them despite not really matching my room because they work well and have a good price.
Hard to installSerdarLike this product except it is really hard to install. I am familiar with IKEA products and installing them but this one gave me problems both times I was installing.

broke out of the boxKristinWe have purchased these shades in the past. We needed to replace one that stopped rolling back up, after a few years of use. The new one arrived. We mounted it. First time rolling it down, there was a spring sound, and the shade wouldn't roll back up. I ordered this replacement online and live hundred of miles from an IKEA store, so returning it is super challenge. :-(

Hard to pull up and downDebraShades are very finicky to move up or down — seem to roll in small increments, and at that very hard to get shades on two adjacent windows to be at same level. I pull them down and they just pop up a few inches. This rolling/spring/locking in mechanism used in these blinds seems cheap and should be a lot better for the $53+ I paid for each blind. They look pretty if you don’t need to raise them up and down. Disappointed

Broke after a YearJenniferI love this blind because of how dark it keeps my room. We bought this blind because of the ability to open and close remotely and it is on a window that is difficult to reach. However, after a year the open/close mechanism stopped working and the blind has remained closed. I am disappointed that we can no longer open the blind and hesitate to buy another to replace it.
It’s great, but..SopheI have 8 feet long and 30” high window! I wish ikea has that size. I bought one 48” long and 2 of 23” long ones. They work great!
Easy to hang, but actual shade not as wide as it needs to beMichaelvery very very easy to hang. Sadly the actual blind panel itself is considerably shorter than the width of the hardware creating light opportunities on both sides of the window.

Defective - return mechanism does not workGutThis may be a rare situation based on the otherwise positive reviews, but the Tretur blinds that I bought and installed are defective. The blinds do not return to the original "up" position as they should. They are worthless. I will be returning and will not be shopping at IKEA again for blinds.
