King BedPinelopiI really wanted to like this bed! We had the Malm before this one and I thought I would try another newer version. It seems cheaper than the Malm, the drawers are not aligning well and there is not enough wood on the side panels so when you seat to lie down it is actually painfull even with a 12 inch mattress. Since the last time I bough IKEA the quality of the wood is even worse and extremely delicate to scratches and chipping off. I have bought a lot of IKEA products over the last 20 years and I am very sad with this purchase. It is such a huge effort to return it now that it is assembled so unfortunately I have to make it work.1
Bed frame that is pretty and functionalAndreaLike the bed frame with the storage drawers that have the easy close rails. It fits in the room well and the mattress doesn’t sit too far down.5
Well madeChristopherThe bed is of good quality at a fair price. It was challenging to put together.4
BedMikeNice style and quality5
Squeaky MalindaStarted to squeak with every movement after a week or so. Also I hit my knee regularly on the footboard/leg which sticks out a bit. 3
Beautiful and sturdy!AnaI gave 4 stars because it took us like 3 days to put together for about 10-12 hours. The instructions are not well sequenced and the metal Brace that runs in the middle of the frame had a hole in the pictures but took care of that with a drill bit. There was also no screw. Went to Lowe’s to get a screw and that fixed it. I bought slats from ikea as well. Drawers are smooth and bed is overall sturdy. Don’t regret buying but did lose my patience a lot in the process.4
Great quality, love the storageSarahPurchased this for a small space where I needed more storage, it worked perfectly. It was not too hard to put together, and I really like how it looked at the end. The quality is great it was quite sturdy and it has a lot of storage in the drawers. Purchases the row of slats so it does not need a box spring.5
Bad drawers and hard to assemble AsmaCute design but difficult to assemble and drawers don’t close properly - flimsy drawers. So sad all the time spent assembling this bed and now we have to return it1

Good bed, frustrating instructionsMichaelI had heard of Ikea's build instructions prior to attempting this bed. I went slowly and tried to follow these instructions. They are maddening. It's as if a mime is trying to tell you how to put something together. If Ikea is deadset against using words in their instructions, they should send a QR code to an instructional video. I made several mistake based on this and I'll use words here to help others, as Ikea refuses to use words in their 'instructions'. 1) The dowels do not go in every hole. Do not put them in the holes next to the recessed circles. If you have to tap them in, you likely don't need a dowel there. 2) There is no indication of which side the grain will be facing. on step 3, the headboard and board below will both be grain. 3) classic finger pointing to arrow. The metal disks have an arrow on them. The hex key and arrow should be visible when installed and the arrow should be pointing to the hole. This allows the rod to be pulled in. no space, so much more wrong.3
Great bed terrible drawer quality ChaseVery satisfied with the bed frame, it is high quality and looks good. But the drawers are beyond bad. Only came with two drawer fronts so I’m having to order more and the quality of the particle board for all of them is the worst I’ve seen and I’ve had a lot of ikea furniture over the years. Pieces were flaking off out of the box and almost impossible to assemble. Definitively do not get the model with drawers, just get the regular one and find other storage.2
High end lookLynneWe purchased the queen size and although a lot if steps was fairly easy to out together other than the directions could be clearers on how to place the metal support bar if you use the Lonset slats as they are deeper and you need to install the metal bar in the lowe position. Otherwise, we were very happy woth the overall appearance.5
Solid bedTeresathe bed is very sturdy and solid. It was quite easy to assemble.5
Fantastic bedPatI loved this bed from the moment I saw it. Drawers underneath - yes please. Drawers up off the ground so my robot vacuum can still get underneath - holy cow yes! Whomever came up with this design is a genius. Bravo! And my cat, who loves sleeping under my bed, appreciates it too.5
NiceCarlosNice, sturdy, easy to assemble.5
Great look but so squeakyMaxineDrawers are smooth, but crooked, love the height and texture of the bed. My issue is it is so loud. Every time you move, get onto the bed, get off, it squeaks a lot. 3
It wasn't enough parts of drawersArtemNeed help3
Drawers are a nightmare Ximena:( I had high hopes for this bed frame .. it’s a bit tedious but expected. However the drawers made me really sad, they started falling apart at the corners, I have pieces of cheap wood all over from the corners breaking. And the slats don’t really connect easily, plus the connectors are plastic so it feels like they are connected to nothing. Definitely needs a better drawer assembly and quality :( I mean, for the price, I was expecting a lot more :( 1
Beautiful bed, annoying build experience BetsyLet’s just say this bed has some issues… One piece had the hole about 1 mm off, so I had to fix it with my drill. It only comes with the exact number of screws, so if you mess up, you’re stuck going to buy more and the screws strip super easily. Other than that, the bed looks very aesthetic and comfortable3
Build ReviewDiegoAll parts included. Be aware it can be Tedious to build the first time. 2-3 hours. Center beam is included. Slept comfy the first night. 4
