Product details

The entire cover is removable and machine washable, making your bed easy to keep clean and use for a long time. The cover comes in two pieces, so it’s easy to remove and put back on.

The soft cover has a timeless look with decorative details and a slightly wider headboard that gives the bed a unique look.

The strong and sturdy wooden legs made of solid oak enhance the warm and natural look of the bed frame.

The cover is made from the dope-dyed fabric Tibbleby of which at least 90% is recycled polyester. It has a slight luster and a discreet herringbone pattern.

The soft, padded headboard is comfortable to lean against while reading or watching TV in bed.

You can easily vacuum under the bed frame to keep the space clean and dust-free.

The bed frame is easy to assemble and has a lightweight and sturdy construction

You can buy an additional cover separately – in the same style or with a different expression if you want some variety

Good to know

The back of the headboard is finished with a grey fabric.

Combine this bed frame with a slatted bed base with a max. thickness of 1⅝" to keep the slats hidden in the frame. The slats of a higher bed base may be visible along the sides of the bed.

after 6 months terrible noiseJosé OtávioI bought this bed frame a few months ago, and although it looks nice and was easy to assemble, it makes a lot of noise every time we move. Even small movements cause creaking and squeaking sounds, which can be quite annoying at night. I’ve checked all the screws and connections, but the noise persists. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this model unless IKEA improves its stability and reduces the noise.1
Solid mattress frame for a good priceJohnEasy to assemble, works well, good rest. Recommended for both young folks looking for their first adult mattress and also us older folks looking for our last and final rest. 5
Broke in half within a few weeksCaitlinDO NOT BUY! This is a failed product design that needs to be discontinued. The footboard of the bed snapped in half a few weeks after we assembled and started sleeping on it. I'm 165 lbs, my husband is 180 lbs, neither of us are particularly large people. It broke when I sat on it, there was no jumping or anything. IKEA replaced the broken frame and as soon as we opened it and began assembly we noticed that the exact same problem is going to happen with the new frame too. It's a design flaw. There is a stapled wood joint in the footboard made from a few extremely flimsy, splintery pieces of wood no more than 1-2" in thickness. The staples pass through a finger groove joint where the metal staples are causing the wood to splinter and ultimately break. Unfortunately this design will never be durable as long as they keep building it this way. I really wanted to like this frame, it looks lovely and I love the washable cover! :(1
No opinionPerryThe bed is junk. The first time I sat on the edge of the bed the foot board broke in half which was replaced by iKEA. We had no problems with the bed until a few weeks ago when I sat on it and once again it snapped in half. I weigh 220 lbs so that may be the problem but no the less it broke and I was hesitant to go through the processes again. So I purchased an eight foot 2x4 and reinforced the frame myself. So when I decide to replace this bed I will know to purchase a sturdier one probably somewhere else.1
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BED FRAME!!!!NandiniThis bed is incredible! It is so well made and super sturdy. It definitely looks high end. I wanted a bed frame with a bed skirt and the skirt is made with thick material and the Velcro is brilliant, the bed skirt stays in place. The lines are classic and timeless and I hope that vendors on Etsy and other sites make slipcovers for this bed frame in different patterns. If you are on the fence, BUY THIS BED, you will not be disappointed.5
