SportslingMariaI love it use it for stuff toy storage5
Fun gift!CindyTwo little kids are enjoying this after a fun birthday party… they really love competing with each other, as well as working together !! It’s the perfect size for a couple small soccer balls to roll in at the same time, so not a lot of arguments between our 3 and 4 year olds. 😉 The net is sturdy, didn’t blow away in a gusty wind. Great addition to our collection of sports equipment for kiddos. 5

Soccer net ripped the night we got itCarrielleThe soccer net is good for my kids but little holes formed after just an hour after getting home. A bit disappointed but it’s a great toy for the kids.3
Perfect ReneeLove things that do one more then one job. It's a toy and storage.5
Great!! Teen daughter loves it. DanielleGot for my soccer fan teen daughter for Christmas. Can use as a goal or as a clothes hamper 5
such a great addition to our playroom!Danielewe absolutely adore this. not only does it function as a goal but you can use it for storage. my son has been enjoying cleaning up all of his toys and placing it in this! its such a fun way to include him in the clean up process. 5
My son loves itTatianaIt’s cool because it can be used as storage5
It’s perfect except for the instructionsGuisouIt took me 4 tries to assemble this soccer net - the first 3 times I was following the instructions and could not get the poles into the B joints. I was struggling so hard I worried I might rip the thing (and I might have done in a fit of rage). Finally on my 4th attempt I tossed the instructions and just followed my instincts, and it all fit together. My son LOVES this and we love it - it lets us be active inside when it’s raining outside. It’s practical and sturdy. I suspect the small handful of poor reviews are because people ran into the same issues that I did with the instructions.5
Sturdy space saverJillAt first, I was looking for a laundry, basket or some thing to store my kids stuffed animals. But the shape of this makes it much sturdier than any laundry basket. Sits nicely between my sons closet and his bunkbed. And holds a lot of stuff!5

Great product for kids toysAdelineSturdy and functional with an appealing look.5
Extremely difficult to assembleKathleenThis is the only IKEA product I’ve ever purchased that did not come together easily. The last two bars that slide in — the top horizontal and bottom front horizontal — have to be forced to fit. I still haven’t managed to get the bottom front bar to cooperate. I’ve even taken the toy apart 4 times now to reassemble it, thinking I may have done something wrong. But I haven’t, everything was done according to the instructions. It’s going to take at least two people to wrestle with this thing, and even then I have my doubts. At this I’d like to take to a saw to it and lop off at least half an inch from the bottom bar.2
Wonderful for storing stuffed animalsChristineWonderful for storing stuffed animals, and easy for the kids to use as a goal to toss their critters into. It is a bit difficult to get together, as the material fits extremely tight over the poles.5
Great for Stuffed Animal Storage!MelanieMy daughter has 125+ stuffed animals. What can I say? That’s her jam. And it’s always been a challenge to find a good way to store them so that they: A.) Are not sprawled out all over the floor, and B.) That she can access the ones she wants to play with at any given time. So actually because we could never really find exactly what we were looking for the stuffies have stayed in her closet in giant IKEA bags for years. I saw Sportslig and knew immediately it was what we were looking for. And it works! Propped vertically, she can look through the mesh to find the stuffie she wants and unzip the side for easy access. I love the triangular shape, so it fits well against the corner of the room. I’m going to go back to IKEA and buy another one!5
We absolutely love this itemRoxanaWe absolutely love this item for soccer practice. We also use it as a clothes hamper.5
Cool but expensiveHayliThis is a really cool net that doubles as storage. My kids love it but finding a place for it is almost impossible because of its size and shape. And it’s really expensive considering what it is and what it does.3
my son and we loveSvetlanamy son and we love it! very comfortable and fun to play football with this goal. Can be used as a basket for balls. Easy to assemble!5
Cat toy storageWinonaAll my cat toys go in here, I even put a little bed in there. It's quick and easy to toss'em in and zip it up when I have to vacuum or have guests and don't want toys all over the place. Is it worth 25 no5
Assembly was easy. Perfect forBobAssembly was easy. Perfect for a three-year old to practice indoors.5

SPORTSLIG Ball storage/goal

Pep for more movement

At Children’s IKEA, we want to inspire to an active everyday – with more room for jumping, running, fun and games. Because the fact is, studies show that physical activity both plays a big role in children’s well-being and is an investment in the future.

Maria Ekblom, Associate Professor at Swedish School of Sports and Health Sciences, researches how physical activity affects children. “We know for sure that the right amount of movement has a positive effect on children’s physical condition, muscle strength, cardiovascular health as well as blood pressure and blood sugar.”

The whole body likes to move

“Studies have shown that movement enhances the mental well-being and is positive for certain cognitive functions. Furthermore, the amount of physical activity we get as children also affects our habits and health later in life. So, what is the right amount of movement? The UN’s World Health Organization (WHO) recommends that children between ages 5 and 17 should do at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity each day. In addition, a couple of times a week, it’s good to do more high-intensity training that increases the heart rate for a longer period of time.

Find the pulse in the everyday life

Maria has tips on how to find the time and energy for regular exercise in everyday life. “If it’s possible, walking or riding a bike to and from school is a great opportunity for everyday exercise. Just like meeting friends and playing outside in a safe environment.” Younger children often have a natural appetite for physical activity, but they might need some encouragement to get going when they get older, says Maria. “I think it’s important to give children the opportunity to do sports or other activities that are age-appropriate and match their interests. Then, if they really like what they’re doing, it’s easier to make it a good habit that lasts.”

Function solution

Moving develops the entire body

Children around the world love to jump and do somersaults, completely unaware that they are training their motor skills at the same time. Going through an obstacle course, playing with a ball or even crawling through a narrow tunnel helps develop the child's sensory system, especially their coordination and balance. Moving is important for both children and adults so that we feel good – for our entire lives.
