Super cuteAlexisI love the seamless repeated pattern. The little details are amazing bugs crawling up the trees. Such a fun coloring page. We just rolled it out on the floor colored for a bit and rolled it back up. Great for multiple kids they don’t fight over who gets to color which animal because you can just roll a little more out and everyone gets to color the deer. 5

Repeated Pattern, YES! 2nd review.AltheaIt looks like it will repeat the pattern every 3 maybe 4 feet. If you view it clearly in the picture where its laid out and displayed on the table, you can see it repeats where the deer comes out. The first deer is at the end of the paper and repeats, right at the beginning of the roll, just past the red bar. You have to really look, but its there. NOW, with that said it gives you more than the last one with the Space man theme. My favorite is still the Alien one and they really should bring that one back.4

Repeated Pattern?AltheaThe first one I got was years ago and it was an Alien Themed one. IT WAS FANTASTIC! Ikea really should bring that one back. The pictures never ended and one just flowed into the next scene. Nothing was repeated that I noticed real bad. The ones after that got sloppy and the theme was just repeated over and over again after that. Lost interest and then just used it as wrapping paper. The SPACE on (last one I got) was not good at all. I mean the theme repeated after just like 2 feet. We used ita wrapping paper also and as a dinner placement paper for mess. I was not happy with that one. THis animal print I hope is better. IM headed to IKEA today. IM FIRST, going to check if its a repeated pattern. THen determine if I want to purchase it to color or use like I did the other ones. 4
So much fun and creativity boost for my kidsKseniaThis is the third time I bought SKODSVUA coloring roll for my kids. All the details, the theme, the quality of the paper - the best! My kids can spend a whole day coloring and it is never getting boring. The theme is changing every so often. The first one I bought was the underwater world, then the space, now all the forest stuff. Beautiful and Good Quality NicholeWe purchased this for our child who has taken an interest in coloring and drawing. The details of the drawings are great, the printing of the images are good quality, and the thickness of the paper only adds to the overall value of this product! Our child was extremely excited and got out their markers, crayons, and colored pencils and immediately started coloring! Story

Step into the enchanted forest

Deep in the silent forest, there’s a secret life going on. The hedgehog family lives in a tree stump, and they invite the owl, rabbit and other friends for tea. Outside, the moon shines and between the trees, you can suddenly see a green shimmering aurora light up the sky.

”SKOGSDUVA is a collection that brings us to the magical forest, which is a big part of our Scandinavian roots here at IKEA,” says Anna Edlundh, product developer. “The forest might seem quiet and empty, but if you look a little closer, it’s full of life with lots of exciting animals and plants — even during the cold winter.”

A world to fantasize about

In the collection of bed textiles, toys and accessories, we meet animals typical of Scandinavia. In addition to the hedgehog family and their friends, there is the white arctic fox, the otter, the lynx, and many more. “Designer Malin Gyllensvaan has created a wonderful world with exciting details in her illustrations: a mouse sleeping in a hammock, another is dressed up with a bow tie. They all live rather human lives, and I hope they inspire both children and their adults to come up with their own bedtime stories.” The soft toys make the characters step out of the stories and become a part of the play. “We know that children like realistic soft toys, so we have put a lot of effort into finding the right facial expressions and emotions.

Soft like moss

One of Anna’s personal favourites is the green rug. “It’s soft and nice, like moss in the forest, and perfect to play on. The cushions in the collection become like soft flowers and mushrooms that pop out of the rug.” Anna hopes the collection can contribute to the interest and understanding of the forest. “The forest is after all the home of animals and plants, and that’s why it’s so important that we help preserve it.“

"The SKOGSDUVA collection is inspired by my childhood when I was outdoors a lot and created imaginary worlds where different animals lived. I want children to explore nature beyond the front door and feel like they can make these animals come alive in their rooms too. I think children like the idea of animals living a human-like life with complex relationships, clothes and small furnished houses."
