Started overheating and stopped charging after 6 monthsDevinI bought this cable with their Ikea 45w fast charger and everything worked great until today. 6 months later the cable just stopped charging my phone past 14% and sat there for an hour and I felt the cable end that plugs into the wall charger and it was hot. I tried multiple cables and it was only this cable and not the power brick. I even tried it with a non fast charging brick and it still overheated and wouldn't charge. Bad cable quality it was never moved from its place next to my desk.1
Fast Charging Cable BenI have already purchased 3 of these cables because the price is cheaper than other usbc cables I've bought. The material of the cable is also very sturdy but absolutely not water proof so be sure you keep this cable away from any wet surfaces. 5
