Great glassware for a great price!HadassahMy folks started using these over 5 years ago because we needed sturdy glasses in blue and red. Fast-forward to a few years ago where I've gotten married and needed glasses; these were my first pick! They're super sturdy and thick, and they can handle warm/hot liquids really well. They can even be microwaved in! And the colours are really nice! Every now and then we have to replace a broken one, but it's not very often since the glass is so thick (and even when it does break, it doesn't shatter like most inexpensive glass). I'll always recommend these!
Exploded by itselfMingyoungWe had a great experience with this IKEA glass cup at first, but after what happened today, we no longer feel safe using it.
This morning, we heard a loud popping sound coming from our dishwasher. When we opened it, we found that the glass cup had suddenly shattered, with pieces scattered all over the inside. The dishwasher wasn’t running at the time — we had just placed the cup inside to be washed.
We currently have three more of these cups at home, and after this incident, we’re honestly afraid to use them. We’re concerned about this happening again and potentially causing injury.
Not sturdyMelodiI bought these same glasses 8 years ago and wanted to replace a few. Three have broken in 4 weeks. I noticed my sturdy glasses were made in Bulgaria the latest ones have China as manufacturer. Do not believe you are getting the same Ikea glass.

Spontaneously Shattered - Do Not Buy!MicheleI purchased this glass appx a week ago and it was sitting in the sink to be hand washed. I was in the kitchen and heard a pop/shattering noise and when i looked in the sink, there was glass everywhere. Literally exploded. Very unsafe - it could have been in someone's hand when this happened and caused serious injury. Definitely do not buy this. Very unsafe.
Crack EasilyJulieThese cups are terrible! Sometimes I have them in the sink after they have been used and 2 times within a few weeks I have put a dirty butter knife in and the glasses crack. I don’t recommend them at all!!
Shattered SpontaneouslyNicoleI loved the look of these glasses but their quality is subpar. This evening, a glass that was sitting on my coffee table randomly shattered. IKEA has furnished most of my apartments and I’m a huge fan. While I rarely write reviews, I felt compelled to share as I fear this may be a safety issue. A quick search online suggested this is a common occurrence. I hope this issue can be addressed and corrected.

Nice beverage glassAngelaI already owned this glass, but it had gotten broken. The clear glass is OK. I also have the pink, purple, and blue glass options. It would have been super if there had been one more color such as yellow to make a set of four. The clear glass is functional but not as stylish as the other color glass.
The best glasses!LanezI needed new drinking glasses and saw these in IKEA. I just bought 2 to see how they were. I’m Going to go back to buy more! They are GREAT! Strong glass and great for a nice cold drink.

I also like that it holds a decent amount of liquid; I don't need a really large glass for drinking water, juice, or soda at home. I also think the color options are fun and look pretty. Great glassware, don’t drop - shatters into a million piecesElizabethHave had these for 9 years. They are great but recently accidentally dropped one. It shattered and threw shards of glass everywhere in a very large radius. Even after sweeping and vacuuming, I’m still finding small pieces 4 days later in my kitchen. Lesson learned

Sturdy, classic glassesCarolineAt $0.99, there is no better bargain at IKEA. These are a great size and are nearly identical to more expensive glasses I have in the same style. The ridges in the design make them easy to hold - they are very ergonomic, classic glasses at a bargain price.
