broke in two weeks and broke my trust in ikeaWallisfrom the moment i put the bed together it was a hassle due to the slats not being fixed in place. i glued the slats down, thinking that would solve things.. boy was i wrong… i had been leisurely sitting on my bed for maybe an hour or two when the thing totally collapsed. oh well… i still love your plant balls…1
Stay away from this trash!RjI would give it a zero stars if I can. This cheap quality is insane. First, the wood is damage. Second, assembly and the holes are not aligned properly like other ikea items. Lastly, the measurement is false advertisement. The width of the bedframe size is only 53 inches and not the the 54.75 inches they are showing. So if you have a real full mattress it's not gonna fit properly. TRASH! Even for this price point I would not recommend even to my worst enemy.1
lasted a year or so Remycan’t write a review that encompasses just how bad this bed frame is. i loved it at first and it was incredibly easy to assemble given that it is a full bed frame. i have used this bed frame for about a year and for the last 2 months or so, it has become my greatest source of annoyance. it creaks so loud i can barely sleep. i have never in my life experienced anything so annoying. i am up at 11 pm right now purchasing a new bed frame and writing this review. just terrible don’t purchase. 1
Godawful, but you get what you pay for.Aubreyi’ve had this bed for 1-2 years and it is a PAIN. At first, it seemed nice, easy to assemble, minimalistic, but after some time passed, the panels were a nightmare to deal with. The whole idea of having a sheet of panels as a support system for a bed just does not work. The panels shift extremely easily and we have had to tape them down, drill them in, etc. But even then, they are very weak, thin panels that warp and break constantly. Also, the bed itself gets very creaky after some time. It’s good for something makeshift, but NOT long term.1
Perfect BuyCharlotteThis is solid, inexpensive, and we would definitely recommend. We assembled it almost six months ago and haven’t had any issues whatsoever. A solid wood bed frame at this price is an incredible find. 5
Good quality reinforced bed frame KlaudiaGreat bed for my granddaughters room. Love the space u Der neath for pullout drawers5
Awful. Do not buy this bedAnonymous reviewerI think this is the only review I’ve ever written for anything. The slats shift constantly and my bed caves in when I sit gently on it more than half of the time. When I was building it the wood split in one of the areas even though I used the provided tools. Quality of a $20 bed frame1
Love!!Anonymous reviewerI was looking for an affordable bed frame and this was just absolutely perfect, it has everything i was looking for! The assembly wasn’t too hard one i actually looked at the instructions properly. 5
BROKEN BACKAnonymous reviewerif you long for experiencing how it feels to have your palms rub off to the point of bleeding trying to make screws fit which are OBVIOUSLY way too big for the holes, as well as having long lasting back problems from bending for 6 hours straight then go ahead and buy this bed. It is as sturdy and stable as my mental state after offering my blood and sweat to this shamble of wood. However, to leave my review on a positive note, it is a great team building excercise and test of the strength of friendships as it is (at least) a two man job. 1
GoodRaviGood frame for low price5
Pine wood DERBY!AlexI had fun assembling this bed frame. I'd recommend using a drill just don't smash the screws into the wood! I used candle wax on the threads of the screws worried the bed would creak but honestly it's quiet. I got half way through waxing threads and gave up lol. So some threads where waxed and the bed does not creak. I'm 250lbs and toss and turn and it's sound; no pun intended. I love the frames low profile yet it's tall enough for storage underneath. Simple, affordable, clean looking. Fragrant pine scent is cute. Also, I feel like the ownership of this piece gives me great pride because I assembled it. Kinda like LEGOs but more practical ;)5
Easy for me to set up and comfortableRochelleI'm 63 and what I love about this frame is that I can put it together by myself. Besides that I like it's simple design, and the wooden creaky sounds it makes, and that it's low to the ground which makes it easy to get in and out of bed. I put one together for my elderly mother too, and she loves it.5
Love itAndreinaIt is just what I thought when I bought it. Nice and simple. Easy to assemble and it is perfect for my son’s bedroom 5
Don’t BotherStuartCenter beam snapped, don’t bother buying this. 1
If you have 8 arms and 12 brains then buy itTatianaThis bed was so hard to put together with just 4 arms and 2 brains. We lost brain cells putting it together. The instructions were vague and nothing was labeled. Eventually we started making our own holes and just having to do stuff because nothing lined up and we were absolutely frustrated. If you are able to just create your own holes and use your imagination, it will work in the end. But 0/10 for assembly.2
peice of garbageLilithThe bed is very difficult to assemble. The instructions are very unhelpful. The screws given were not the correct size which made them useless. There is no way to secure the slats. The finished product is unusable, I doubt it would support my weight. This is my first and last time purchasing from Ikea. I am very disappointed.1
Needed a drill to put together!SharonI was told that all the tools I would need was included! But I needed to hire a handyman with a drill because the L wrench was not good enough!3
Looks good, but assembly was difficultTiffanyThis looks nice, but I'm also afraid to move around on this thing too much. I don't know of it will hold up. Some of the pieces don't align properly and a few of the screws/dowels don't fit??? I guess you get what you paid for. 3
Squeaky after a whileNicholasI gave this bed a glowing 5-star review a while back, and I do still like it - however, after maybe 2 years of use, it creaks and groans with every bigger movement. I guess it's to be expected at this price point, and I loved it for 2 years - but I just wish Ikea made a frame as simple, minimal, and elegant as this with better materials / construction. I'd gladly pay much more for that.3
Love this bedSarahI bought this for my granddaughter when she comes to stay with us. She loves it!5
