Solid!VictoriaWe have 2 of these beds and they've both held from 180 lbs up to 300 lbs for over a year so far and through an entire home location move. We also have the wooden bed slats purchased separately.5
No regrets purchaseJackie DavidSturdy frame for a good price. Was glad to find a short headboard and single mattress frame for a loft / sloped ceiling bedroom.5
awesomeHeatherlove these beds5
Even on a budget, not worth itSimoneI moved a few months ago and got tired of sleeping on a mattress on the floor so I went to IKEA and got this. When I started to build it I found out it had misaligned holes so I had to screw in the screws hard enough for the wood connector to make a new hole in the frame. Then once it was built, I got the slats (which for a full is actually two separate twin ones) and they’re too small and constantly fall down. Definitely a waste of money. 1
Not even a year old; BROKENGiancarloMy 3 year old son slept in this bed. He doesn’t weigh almost anything. The middle part of the bed broke. He never jumped on it, just laid down. That shows the quality.1
BrokenKatieI have had this bed for not even a full month and it is already breaking. I work most days so all so all I do is sleep on it. The frame is already breaking 1
SOLID BUT REALLY HARD TO BUILDLairaThis was by far the worst furniture to put together! The instructions are not clear, and the screws are low quality! I regret deeply of buy this bed! It's solid if you put it together right, like really solid! But if you don't can be terrible. It's cute, but the part in the back is not tall at all, so if you have a 12-inch mattress, that part will disappear in the back of it. They give you 2 different sizes of screws that are not for the same purpose. Watch out for not mistaking those or your life will be a nightmare. Also, one of the screws was so badly quality that it got stuck and was impossible to remove later, watch this too! Put it very carefully!1
Great Starter BedCheloI'm glad I didn't get swayed with online reviews. I know I just had to see this bed frame for myself in the Ikea showroom. I laid on it and I was more confused on the awful reviews I see. It was compactly packaged. So convenient to buy and take home into an apartment complex. Got home and assembled it in 1 hour by myself. It was intuitive especially when you just look at which holes goes on which side. Illustration was helpful. I used the Ikea basic tool kit for hammering the wood inserts and a screw driver on top of the allen screws that came with the bed. It was a fun build. The slats were easy to put and i dont get the creaking sound like everybody is saying. For this piece to be a solid build, you have to be able to align the joints properly and accurately screw in the bolts. Overall, I definitely recommend this to those who are starting to furnish their apartment or kid's room. You save so much for a simple, sturdy and clean looking frame.5
DIFFICULT BUILDKelseyGot this because I needed something basic and thought it would be a simple build right? WRONG. Why was this so difficult? You will 100% need a power tool. My sister and I were losing our sanity over this.
I really recommend to just upgrade and get the ”Tarva”; it’s stronger materials (some metal) and way easier to assemble. (Or hire a task rabbit if applicable)
Now that it’s assembled, it does look nice.2
It’s good if you build it right KellyIt took me 4 hours to build and I was trying to be super quiet since I live in an apartment upstairs so it made me take longer. The instructions could be written better especially for connecting the front to the base which requires the big nail and the faster part so that it’s not super loose. Also it took me forever to screw it in since it was super hard to rotate it I think the holes were not drilling enough or something. Connecting the back panel was also hard since it didn’t line up when I pushed it in so I screwed it in one by one and it lined up eventually.3
Poor tolerancesJackTolerance for the dowels holes makes a hammer a necessity, especially if humidity is swelling the wood. One of the metal plugs wasn't fitting properly and got jammed too far in for part 100514 to fit in. Cheap bedframe so a little roughness is to be expected but this is teetering on unacceptable.2
Kids BedKendraIt totally sucked putting it together and i wish i would have read that in the reviews but the bed is pretty reliable. i bought two of the same for my preteen boys and we have slanted ceilings so this bed fits quiet perfectly.4
broke in two weeks and broke my trust in ikeaWallisfrom the moment i put the bed together it was a hassle due to the slats not being fixed in place. i glued the slats down, thinking that would solve things.. boy was i wrong… i had been leisurely sitting on my bed for maybe an hour or two when the thing totally collapsed. oh well… i still love your plant balls…1
Great for what it isEmilyIt’s a cheap bed frame, so you really can’t expect too much of it. I’ve had it for six months and have never had problems. I have it on vinyl flooring so it moves around sometimes but that makes it easy to clean my room. I’m happy with it as this was the budget I had at the time5
Bad Quality!!Anonymous reviewerThe quality is really poor — it can't support much weight, and assembling it is both time-consuming and frustrating. Once it's put together, it gives off a strong smell that lingers for a long time. On top of that, returns have to be taken back to IKEA in person, which is a hassle, especially if you only have a small car. All in all, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this product.

Worth the effort! DanielleNot as easy to put together as I expected it to be, but I love it! Sturdy, compact and the pine smells wonderful. 5
Stay away from this trash!RjI would give it a zero stars if I can. This cheap quality is insane. First, the wood is damage. Second, assembly and the holes are not aligned properly like other ikea items. Lastly, the measurement is false advertisement. The width of the bedframe size is only 53 inches and not the the 54.75 inches they are showing. So if you have a real full mattress it's not gonna fit properly. TRASH! Even for this price point I would not recommend even to my worst enemy.1
Wobbly RogerI have seen this model and laid on it and think it's pretty safe to say it's cheap trash1
lasted a year or so Remycan’t write a review that encompasses just how bad this bed frame is. i loved it at first and it was incredibly easy to assemble given that it is a full bed frame. i have used this bed frame for about a year and for the last 2 months or so, it has become my greatest source of annoyance. it creaks so loud i can barely sleep. i have never in my life experienced anything so annoying. i am up at 11 pm right now purchasing a new bed frame and writing this review. just terrible don’t purchase. 1
Godawful, but you get what you pay for.Aubreyi’ve had this bed for 1-2 years and it is a PAIN. At first, it seemed nice, easy to assemble, minimalistic, but after some time passed, the panels were a nightmare to deal with. The whole idea of having a sheet of panels as a support system for a bed just does not work. The panels shift extremely easily and we have had to tape them down, drill them in, etc. But even then, they are very weak, thin panels that warp and break constantly. Also, the bed itself gets very creaky after some time. It’s good for something makeshift, but NOT long term.1
