Nieces love itJoWe bought this 2 of our nieces for their birthday and they were soooooo surprised. They were much needed for their shared room. 5
Twin bunk bedsAnaI love how basic and convenient these bunk beds are. They are perfect for my daughter’s minimal room. The wood around seems pretty sturdy and it was easy to build. The one thing I wish this had additional is a metal cross under the slates for more sturdiness. The slates arent as strong looking. My daughters toddler bed came with some additional metal rods and it made it sturdier. For these bunk beds I had to purchase some rods to make sure they last long. 3
Kids love itDanielGood bed, sturdy as it gets, took me like 2 hours to do by myself4
Is ok but now grate EsmeraldaIt’s been a year since I bought the bed but the top side open a crack idk if I can buy the broken part3

MydalJameelGood looking, clear instructions to fix...
But need more time more than I expect to fix it if you worked along5
Good value, but with a caveatPaulMy wife and I love the bed and are glad we purchased it. Having said that, I would caution anyone buying it that it is one of the more difficult IKEA pieces I have ever had to put together because of the slats. They have to be individually pegged in on both sides using a hammer and a wooden block. Unfortunately, the one ikea provides is virtually useless and even using an appropriate sized wooden block, you have to hammer in 64 individual plastic pegs. We banged away several hours one afternoon just to finish one bed and then another 90 minutes the next morning. Not sure what you would do if you are not adept at wielding a hammer. I have put together many, many IKEA pieces through 2 different sets of kids and this is the weirdest (and most difficult) assembly design I have encountered. I am sure IKEA design engineers have a valid reason for having to individually bang in each peg, but I also think they could easily come up with a much simpler, yet equally sturdy assembly approach.4
Overall an excellent product.AnaWe went into the store looking for a bunk bed for my children not knowing what style we wanted. All we knew was that we needed something durable and space saving but that also looks good.
This bed definitely fit all the criteria. As soon as we saw it on the store floor we knew it would work perfectly for us.
Thr material is nice and sturdy. The white finish is beautiful and just makes the kids room look put together.
The only issue that we had was a little bit with the instructions and putting it together. Maybe it's the lack of words or maybe it was just us not being able to clearly fallow picture instructions.
Anyways over all its an excellent product. So far its still looking great and sturdy. Cant wait to see how it holds up in a year or so.4
Sturdy and ConvenientDennisGood product for the price. It’s pretty sturdy and fairly easy to put together, The opening for the ladder is not large. Clearly better for a smaller child. Overall would recommend4
Decent bunk bed at low costVickiThe bed is sturdy and not too difficult to assemble. My 2 helpers (ages 5 and 7) felt that some of the screws were very hard to fasten, and I had to agree. I also wish the instructions would have told me how to figure out how to decide where the ladder goes, vs simple pictures that don't tell you the options.5
I Love itYocarineI love it5

Good price, good quality, sturdyLeidyGood price, good quality, sturdy bunk bed. A bit time-consuming to put together and most likely will need another person to help putting the two ends of the bed together, I had my 6 y/o son and had o issues with that. If you don't pay close attention or interpret the instructions correctly the first time, you might need to go back a few steps. Other than that it's a great product. As for longevity, too soon to tell, we just got it a few weeks ago.4
Great bunk bedJoelAfter looking at several bunk beds for my boys after graduating from a toddler bed and crib, we chose the IKEA Mydal. It took a few hours to put together as expected, but directions were straightforward and the quality feels sturdy. Fits standard twin mattresses and my boys love it.5
