Product details

High resilience foam gives support for each part of your body by closely following your movements.

Comfort zones give very precise support and relieve pressure on your shoulders and hips.

A generous layer of soft filling adds support and comfort.

The mattress cover is removable in two parts so it is easy to take off and air out. The top part is also machine-washable.

All of our mattresses can be used immediately, but keep in mind that a packaged mattress only regains its full shape and comfort after approximately 72 hours. Your body also needs a couple of weeks to adapt to the new mattress.

Sometimes the mattress has a noticeable smell when you open the packaging. The smell isn’t harmful or toxic and disappears over time. Airing and vacuuming the mattress helps to eliminate the smell faster.

To be completed with a slatted bed base or mattress base.

Not worth it.Yve C.Needed a full size mattress for a guest bedroom right away. Couldn’t spend allot but I want my guest to be comfortable so I bought this one because of the reviews and the $249. price. Then I found one at Walmart for $199. I couldn’t believe it. When you compare both, Walmarts is nicer. It’s actually fuller and even all the way around. Cover is soft and better quality. When you compare them side by side the Morgedal 8” didn’t measure up to the Spa Sensations 8” from Walmart. Wish I could post a picture to show the difference.1
Sleepy TimeL4 stars because I'm still breaking it in.4
Gets cold in winterCARRIE B.It’s hard to find a true ’firm’ mattress these days, but this one is definitely that, which is great. For both my husband and I it’s a bit too firm and after 2 hours of sleep we wake to one party of our body being asleep, but fantastic for naps. Our biggest complaint is that in the winter when we keep the bedrooms cool at night, around 62-65, the mattress is freezing, so you can be warm on top but the cool seeps right through and you can’t get warm. We are going to get a topper which will hopefully solve this issue, because we do like the firmness of the foam.3

Best mattress ever!naziaMy family doesn't like boxed springs beds so searched alot for a good firm mattress that could go with slates. We started with another ikea product 'sultan' thats discontinued now so switched to this. We have been using this type for many years because of its perfect firmness and quality. As of today, all beds in our house have morgedal firm mattresses on them.5

Roll-packed – not just easy to take home

Most of our mattresses and all mattress toppers come roll-packed. This saves space and costs less to transport, allowing us to also reduce our carbon footprint by having fewer trucks on the road. We can then pass our cost savings on to you and you can take home your new mattress or mattress topper more easily. It’s a win-win situation for you and the environment.

Material

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.

Designer thoughts

Designer thoughts

"As a designer I’m inspired by patterns, so I began creating the mattresses with lots of shapes in mind. Dots, stripes and squares, combined in all sorts of ways. Suddenly I remembered the quilted winter coats of my childhood – and the pattern was born. Different squares for different sizes, and seams on the thinner mattresses that make a striped pattern. The number of seams increases along with the price and the quilted squares give extra support. I hope you’ll find a mattress to suit both your body and your wallet."
