The watercolors will leave permanent stains on most surfaces and materials, however, immediately washing the area with soap and lukewarm water may give good results.
After use, clean the brushes, cups and box with water; hand wash only. Clean the tablets with water and remove any excess water.

Where is the box?!?BrendaThis is listed as a watercolor box but when it arrived, there was no box, no cups, no brushes. Even one of the sections says to be sure to clean the cups and brushes but I only received the colors which are the “lid” of the box. It seems like false advertisement. I was expecting the whole kit and even checked the product photos (it shows a child in one with cups and brushes) to be sure this was the same as the previous box we had with the other colors. I’d much prefer the whole kit which seems to be similar in price when I look at that product. It’s a shame because I ordered for delivery and I will not drive over an hour to return this disappointment. IKEA should really update the listing or make good on what’s listed.

I’m a teacher and these are a staple in my room the old color palette was beautiful with vivid colors. These are very very light pastels and are barely visible on even white paper. Please bring back the vivid primary colors palette or at least have both available as refills!!

My only regret was not realizing it didn't come with a paint brush. Luckily, I had some old ones on hand.

For all creative little explorers
Drawings all over the kitchen table and colored felt pens without caps. Does it sound familiar? This is definitely part of living with children, and actually something to be happy about. Painting, drawing, and crafting are in fact not just fun, but important work, and a way for your child to develop. When we created the MÅLA series, we wanted to take children’s creation very seriously and listened to the true experts: the children themselves.
We always start with the child’s perspective to understand what they really need. In this project, we found facts and inspiration in pedagogy focusing on creativity. “We realized that creativity isn’t just any play for children, they’re little researchers who use creation to understand the world around them,” says Ina Tidbeck Sjöblom who was part of creating the MÅLA series.

PET plastic is perhaps best known for its use in beverage bottles, yet suits a lot of food and beverage packaging since it’s approved for food contact. Like other plastics, PET is largely made from oil-based raw materials, but today there are even better opportunities to use both renewable raw materials, like corn and sugar cane, and to recycle the plastic several times.
