So nice! Latex backing does smell thoughAnonymousI like this door mat a LOT. It's comfy on the feet and natural materials. Perfect for the tiny space inside our camper. The latex backing has an odor that is not pleasant, in my opinion. When the rug is face up on the floor, though, I really don't notice the smell. And even when the camper is all closed up I can't smell it when I go in there. So all in all this is great. Just if you're scent sensitive this might be a deal breaker.4

What is jute?

Jute is a very hardwearing fiber that is found in the stem of the jute plant. It’s an easy-to-grow plant that requires very little fertilizer, pesticides or water and is ready to harvest after only 120 days. The jute fiber is often used for ropes and sacks but is also known for its silky-smooth luster and can be spun into finer threads which are then woven. In our range we often use woven jute for items like curtains, rugs and furniture.
