A dream for small drivers ‒ a locomotive that is battery powered and controlled by a button on the topside. It can also reverse and its light shows the way forward. Join on the wagons ‒ full steam ahead!

Article Number104.334.23

Product details

When it's time to roll out from the station, simply push the button forward, and if you need to reverse, push it back. If you want to stop the train, set the button in the middle. Both simple and logical.

The locomotive lights up as it steams ahead on the rails.

Can be used with most other railway systems on the market.

works ok as a powered loco but has 2 faultsLoringfirst fault is that its 0.2" or 5 mm too tall to fit under the standard bridges and overpasses. Second fault is that its hard to pull trains over about 3 cars. They tend to decouple going up the hills. The magnet on the back of the loco dangles and doesn't always line up. But its fun anyway.3
LillaboKristineMy kids absolutely LOVE this toy!5
Fast inexpensive trainJessieOf all the battery-operates toy trains, this one is the fastest! Good value compared to other brands.5
Great addition to the wood train CintiaMy kid loved it! 5
Best train engine!LindaThis engine works so well I bought a second one the last time we went to Ikea. It works better on hills and moves faster on the track than the more expensive Brio battery powered engine we have. 5
CUTETalayeMY SON LOVES IT5
Powerful PatriceThis is such a great little engine! It pulls up to 4 cars - UPHILL! Cute, sturdy, easy to use! Better than I hoped for!! 5
It doesn't have enough power.VanushIt can't always get up to the bridge, it often stalls, it doesn't have enough power.4
Not greatAnonymous reviewerThis drains batteries very fast, even the rechargeable ones. Train is really slow in speed, and like others have said in reverse has trouble climbing bridge. 2
My toddler is in love with this toy!NikiBought for my toddler, and would buy it again if we lost it! The train is perfect to chug along his tracks and keep his attention. He also loves letting it go off track, the battery will die of its left on and stuck on your floor vent under your couch overnight:) we love it. 5
Not enough power for steep slopesZiyuI think the weight is too much on the rear end so it cannot climb an extended slope.2
Cute little engineRuthI would gladly get another one of these, so that each of the Grands could have one pull their train on the track. There was one left when we were at IKEA, and we live several hours away5
trainAnonymousVery very expensive for one train but it does not fit the train set from the same company or maker.5
Cute little train engineCarolynThis is perfect! I wanted to get one for last Christmas so we could have a train going around the bottom of the tree, but it was out of stock. I’m so happy to be able to find one so I will be prepared this year. It’s a little pricey for $10, but it’s exactly what I was looking for.5
TrainsJackiMy son loves this train!!!5
Little engine that could MarkGreat addition to the train set. My two year old beats it up and still runs flawlessly. 5
Grandson likes itDouglasI don't know if the motor was put in backward but it runs faster in reverse than it does going forward.3
Perfect !CassandraMy grandson loves playing with his trains. It promotes coordination their little fingers and creativity.5
Slow!!!AidaSúper súper slow. Thought it was the batteries but no. Brand new batteries still super slow. Very disappointed I had lots of hope for it! Very disappointed .1
Stopped workingClaudiaWe only got to use this toy once. The second time we tried it wouldn’t turn on. We changed the batteries as well so it was not that.1

Material

What is ABS plastic?

ABS plastic is a strong and stable material with a glossy surface – making it perfect for especially used everyday objects like cutlery drawers, kitchen utensils, toothbrush mugs and bathroom hooks. ABS is made from oil-based, non-renewable raw materials, but development is progressing and we are using more and more recycled ABS. It is an important step towards our goal of only using plastic that is recycled or from renewable sources.

Function solution

LILLABO – a wonderful world of tracks and wheels

Trains chugging along through magnificent landscapes, fire trucks and police cars out on daring missions, cars zipping up and down the garage ramp and the recycling truck doing its important job. The LILLABO series allows your child to immerse themselves in a vibrant world and create their own stories and adventures. The play stimulates problem-solving and enhances motor skills, while the imaginary world helps the child interpret and understand the reality around us.
